[Hibiki Cosplay] On-Site Cheer Event Photo Delivery at Blue Archive ONLY

I specially prepared a cheerleading outfit for Hibiki cosplay to attend the Blue Archive ONLY 4.0 at the Guangzhou Anime Convention. The blue-and-white cropped top paired with a white pleated skirt creates a fresh and neat overall look. The cat-ear hair accessory on the head along with the futuristic large-frame goggles clearly highlight the character's distinct features; I carefully adjusted the elastic strap during wearing to prevent them from slipping down. The yellow halo prop above my head was also specially lightweighted, staying securely fixed on-site without tilting while walking.

The shooting location that day was selected on the semi-outdoor steps outside a shopping mall. The grey stone floor and metal railings served as a background that contrasted cleanly with the blue-and-white uniform, keeping the shot from looking cluttered. The yellow-and-white cheerleader pom-poms held in both hands were quite large, requiring a little technique when waving them to keep them looking fluffy and full in the frame while controlling arm height and angle so as not to block my face. On my feet, I wore a pair of thick-soled white sneakers, which made switching poses up and down the steps very convenient.

A fill light set with a softbox was used at the shoot; light came from the left, making skin texture and outfit reflections look very soft without harsh blowouts or glare even outdoors at noon. Since the pom-poms and goggles had many reflective surfaces, the photographer specifically added subtle shadow fill lighting to enrich the final image's depth. The entire shoot took about an hour and a half, including seated compositions with legs extended and half-body close-ups. Sitting on the steps in a short skirt involved fairly large movements, but luckily the pleated skirt design had great flexibility, making standing or squatting for long periods feel completely unrestricted.

As a themed ONLY event, fellow fans met on-site were generally very familiar with the original lore, sharing an unspoken tacit understanding upon seeing this cheerleading outfit, with some even coming over to ask about the styling details of the goggles and cat-ear hairpiece. The cheer atmosphere inside the venue was incredibly lively that day; even in the photo zone, one could faintly hear interactive sounds from the main stage. This immersive event experience is precisely my main motivation for participating in this Event photo delivery.

To be honest, to prevent the pom-poms from shedding, I specially reinforced them during early preparations, though a small amount of paper scraps still fell off when waving them. Fortunately, the on-site staff were very friendly and didn't mind the minor mess on the ground. The overall shoot went very smoothly, and the photographer guided my poses with clear direction, making it feel natural while capturing the best expressions. This set of event photos not only records the faithfulness of the outfit recreation, but also preserves the unique joy of attending a Blue Archive ONLY event. If there are suitable lighting and venues in the future, I will definitely try more cheer-themed cosplay photography shoots.
