Shooting this set of The Shorekeeper from Wuthering Waves took place on the beach at noon; the light was harsh but had a very strong texture. To restore the character's light gauze costume texture, we created multi-layered gradient blue paneling on the fabric. Especially for the streamers on the back hem, the curves naturally lifted by the wind turned out even more dynamic than any pre-designed fixed posture.

During the actual shoot, the ebb and flow of the waves was much faster than expected, requiring us to time the rhythm of the receding tide to capture the split second where the skirt hem and sea waves met. Stepping barefoot on the wet sand, the grains of sand beneath the feet and the temperature of the seawater provided realistic tactile feedback during the session, which made my gaze more focused.

The camera distance stepped back from close-up shots to medium shots, utilizing the sea surface as a pure blue-and-white background to avoid interfering with the layers of the attire. The blue hair paired with the veil became translucent under the sunlight, color-coordinating beautifully with the distant horizon. In post-processing, we made a uniform cool-toned color grading adjustment, preserving the dynamic textures of the hair and fabric brought by the sea breeze, allowing the final photos of this Cosplay photography session to present the character's natural state within the scene.
