The studio photoshoot for Prune's Witch Hunter styling has finally concluded successfully. To perfectly present the character's temperament and details in front of the lens, a lot of thought really went into the early preparations. From the moment I got the costume, I could feel the layering of this design. The black short cape has a very crisp shape, and the silver rivets and metal fasteners along the edges have great texture under the lights. The inner white dress is printed with purple and blue gradient stripes, and as I walk, the bright blue reflective material on the edge of the skirt changes with the light. Most eye-catching is the cross-shaped silver-gray metal accessory on the chest, paired with black-and-blue color-blocked accessories, giving a very strong overall visual impact. The pink-purple gradient bow headpiece on top of the head is the key to lighting up the entire blue short-haired styling.

In terms of props, this giant weapon is definitely a physical workout. The long silver handle connects to a huge silver-gray square hammer head, featuring circular and cross-shaped recessed details on the surface, and a pink bow is tied at the junction of the handle and hammer head. To be able to hold it steadily and strike various poses during the shoot, I practiced the exertion points outside the venue several times in advance. This time, the makeup also deliberately enhanced the eye details; purple-red contact lenses paired with pink-toned eyeshadow make the gaze look more spirited. The grey translucent stockings plus black straps and platform short boots visually lengthen the leg lines, but in actual shooting, maintaining the stability of these poses truly requires core strength.

During the shooting process, photographer @吶魄罗 and I communicated a lot about the use of lighting. Because the costume features black leather, glossy fabric, and metal accessories, to avoid excessive reflection, we repeatedly adjusted the lighting positions in the studio. This set of photos tried many different body languages, from standing weapon display to sitting stretches, to a single-knee-kneeling battle-ready state. Especially for the few shots that needed to showcase the leg lines and the texture of the stockings, to find the most suitable angle, I repeatedly moved positions on the mat to ensure the body's center of gravity was stable, while also taking care of the spread of the skirt hem and cape. The balance of the long-handled weapon in hand is hard to grasp, especially when holding it with one hand or half-kneeling to lift it; it requires utilizing the strength of the arms and waist to drive it so that the frame looks both powerful and agile in character.

The blue hair presented a great layering under the lights, and the bangs on the forehead and styling by the ears also needed to be fine-tuned with hairspray at any time. Although the entire shooting process consumed a lot of physical energy, seeing how well the texture of the costume and the tension of the props were restored in the final photos made it feel totally worthwhile. The Witch Hunter setting has a unique coolness, and recording it through the lens can be considered a complete interpretation of this character. My arms were sore when putting away the weapon, but this cool feeling of battle is truly immersive.
