The stage lighting and atmosphere this time were truly fitting for the character Nagasaki Soyo. When I first received this costume, I contemplated how to capture her essence—seemingly gentle on the surface, yet deeply assertive and strong-willed underneath. The outfit pairs a white dress with a dark blue vest; the gold trim along the vest edges and the overall tailoring align closely with the character design. For the wig, I chose a light strawberry-blonde texture that leans subtly cool against the blue stage lights. The styling of the wig itself required distinct layers, demanding meticulous detailing on both the underlying strands and wispy edges to keep from looking stiff under harsh stage lights. The makeup artist refined my makeup with an emphasis on eye contour and translucency; since intense stage lighting washes out makeup, lacking three-dimensional definition would make the face look flat on camera. The photographer captured light and shadow on set with exceptional precision, using side-backlighting from the stage to outline the silhouette in this Stage photography.

As for props, this Electric bass was genuinely heavy, and holding the playing posture continuously left my shoulders and arms aching after a while. Balancing facial expression control with playing movements on stage was no small challenge. One slightly helpless detail is that my hands are relatively large; when gripping the neck of the Electric bass to fret notes, close-up shots make the hand contours appear somewhat rugged. This might affect immersion for some viewers who feel larger hands don't quite fit this character. However, in actual shooting, prioritizing correct posture and stage tension took precedence. Controlling the intensity of movements is also something that requires finesse in cosplay—too much force looks rigid, while too little lacks vigor, requiring a delicate balance. The smoke effects and shifting stage lights also added complexity to the shoot, as focusing and detail rendering in dim lighting demanded advance coordination with the photographer.

Cosplaying characters from MyGO!!!!! brings fresh insights every time; the character's core essence must be conveyed through cohesive command over costumes, props, and expressions. Even though continuing to build up project works in 2026 demands considerable effort—from selecting outfits and booking photographers to post-production, following through on every single step personally—the moment I stepped onto the stage and picked up the Electric bass, all that dedication crystallized into vivid frames. To match the stage vibe, I referenced real live performances for my movements, including instrument grip posture and eye-line focus. The white dress reflected light under the blue beams, so highlights were slightly subdued in post-processing to keep the overall palette cool-toned. Being able to contribute to fan creation in this manner is a reward in itself.
