This photo set was shot poolside on a midsummer afternoon. Because the weather was fantastic with ample sunlight, the overall vibe was set to bright and refreshing.

Starting with the venue, the pool water color was gorgeous; illuminated by the day's sunlight, the surface displayed a pure sky-blue—just as I said when posting, the water was as pure as the sky. The background featured white walls and palm trees, giving off a resort hotel vibe that integrated naturally with the character styling. Dappled light reflected from the pool water onto the rough tiled floor, adding depth to the visuals. It was actually quite hot during the shoot, but being able to get satisfying photos in such an setting made every effort worthwhile.

Regarding styling and outfit, I prepared a long, straight platinum-blonde wig styled into twintails, adorned with black hair bows on both sides—the core signature of this look. For the swimsuit, I chose a black-and-white two-piece set; the top was a white bandeau with ruffle accents, embellished with black straps and bows along the edges and ties. This black-and-white contrast avoided feeling cluttered while adding a playful, cute charm. The bikini bottoms featured matching white ruffles in a minimal skirted cut, finished with slender black ribbons. I feel this lightweight yet detailed outfit is ideal for outdoor summer location shoots without looking bulky.

For props, I selected a large blue-and-white swim ring and several small yellow rubber ducks. Placing these brightly colored props along the crisp pool edge instantly enriched the visual elements, preventing shots from looking monotonous with just the model and water. Furthermore, having props to hold during the photoshoot made posing much more natural, eliminating those awkward "where do I put my hands" moments.

As for framing composition and posing, we experimented with several approaches during the shoot. In Photo 1, sitting at the pool edge with legs naturally extended and hands reaching forward in a gentle grasping gesture created a relaxed, un-stiff pose. Photo 2 featured kneeling with hands forming a heart shape at the chest—a warm posture that presented the face and upper torso completely. Photo 3 showed holding a yellow duck in each hand, intentionally creating symmetrical composition that paired adorably with the twintails.

Photo 4 is the one I highly recommend as the cover shot: sitting sideways on the ground, leaning back beside the swim ring. This angle beautifully showcases bodily contours and physical poise, rendering a natural sense of leg extension through the lens. Combined with the swim ring providing depth and sunlight filtering through background palm trees, the overall atmosphere and visual punch are exceptionally strong. Photo 5 captured a side-profile glance over the shoulder with a hand resting near the forehead for a casual touch. Photo 6 was a sitting close-up; although I added a slight sticker edit, the overall character demeanor remained spot-on.

Throughout the photoshoot, I continuously fine-tuned my condition. After all, wearing styled wigs under outdoor summer heat inevitably leads to sweating; to maintain a natural, crisp look, keeping makeup pristine and checking for windblown wig strands required constant attention. Furthermore, a twintail hairstyle looks stiff if perfectly neat, so during the shoot we deliberately captured subtle, natural messiness to allow the wind and sunlight to blend seamlessly into the scene.
