[Nicole Demara Cosplay] Cunning Sweetheart: Zenless Zone Zero Convention Photos

"Cunning Hares on the job, zero worries!" Anyone familiar with the Cunning Hares knows that the boss doesn't come cheap, but this confidence stems from absolute mastery over every detail. As a loyal player of Zenless Zone Zero, recreating Nicole Demara's look has always been a challenge I really wanted to complete. Taking advantage of the anime convention, I finally brought this "cunning sweetheart" convention photo set into reality.

For costume preparation, I chose this pink and blue color-blocked outfit. The light blue sleeveless crop vest with white fur trimming along the edges not only fits the character's lively personality but also enriches the overall sense of layering. The inner pink midriff-baring tank top serves as the visual anchor of the whole look, featuring a quirky ghost expression and a "BOO" patch on the chest that perfectly captures the unconventional chic vibe of the Cunning Hares. The bottom styling leans more toward Anime cosplay street style, incorporating black fishnet elements and green-edged heart cutout leg rings. While this design with generous skin exposure made lighting coordination during photography very easy, it naturally tested my physical stamina throughout the convention. Fortunately, the venue was spacious enough, and photographer Wakaba-sensei was extremely professional.

Speaking of props, I specially prepared a white square suitcase. The exterior was covered with cute cartoon ghost stickers, and the handle featured yellow soft padding. Holding this full set of props, paired with medium-long light pink hair, a yellow bow on top of my head, and a subtle black-yellow-white hair accessory, created rich visual color layers. I particularly adore that seated convention photo—sitting on a white cylindrical prop and striking a lively pose with my hands. That uninhibited, playful vibe was the exact emotional core I wanted to capture. I also attempted a high-angle shot carrying the suitcase over one shoulder; that effortless coolness truly felt like embodying the aura of the Cunning Hares' boss. The green rabbit plushie at my waist, with its distinct black and white big eyes, contributed greatly to restoring every detail.

Honestly, the charm of cosplay lies in temporarily stepping into another world to experience that character's daily life and emotions. Nicole's biggest trait is that strong contrast of seeming money-minded on the surface, while being deeply loyal to friends and endlessly reliable at critical moments. To capture this delicate essence, both facial expressions and body language required repeated refinement. On-site at conventions, complex lighting and environmental factors often pose many challenges to photoshoots. Luckily, the indoor venue chosen this time provided ample light sources, which, combined with a large-aperture lens, created a beautiful background blur that highlighted the main subject's details. White platform sneakers paired with pink elastic straps on my feet made my body posture look very elongated.

Looking back at these convention photos, they not only document the look's completion but also mark a deeply enjoyable creative experience. From every clip on the wig to every raw edge on the clothes, we strived to present a perfect state. Candid captures across different poses revealed the character's versatile facets. From initial concept to actual shooting, I gradually understood that cosplay isn't just about putting on clothes, but a collision between details and soul.
