Congratulations on the Traditional Chinese release of OVER REQUIEMZ! This Yuhiru finished cosplay set was in the works inside the studio for quite some time, with careful thought poured into every step from locking down costume details to staging the set. Taking the opportunity of the Traditional Chinese edition launch today, I'm thrilled to share this behind-the-scenes record.

Let's start with this bittersweet, labor-of-love outfit. The light-blue cape coat is the very soul of the entire look; the massive silver star motif on the back yields a gorgeous, subtle shimmer under the studio lights, and the fabric drapes with substantial weight. The oversized black bow at the collar serves as the absolute visual anchor, grounding the airy lightness of the pale blue. Because the bottoms are tailored shorts, the leg details are exceptionally rich. The black leather thigh bands paired with light-blue calf socks bearing subtle geometric textures flatter the leg contours beautifully; seated on the mossy ground, the leg lines and the leather texture of the bands immediately become the visual focal point of the composition.

The wig was trimmed with blunt bangs and a delicate braid along the left side, accented with a silver four-pointed star hairpin to instantly bring out the character's demeanor. The makeup followed a sheer, cool-toned aesthetic with understated eye makeup, focusing primarily on evoking a serene, quietly melancholic expression.

The greenhouse set on shooting day was filled with mood. Photographer Wanwan (@AnheiXiaowuya) curated an artificial conservatory garden featuring lush green moss and ferns layered with masses of blue roses and white hydrangeas; the blue-and-white floral clusters combined with dangling white trumpet blooms established an ethereal, quiet atmosphere. For props, I brought a short dagger with a white blade and black hilt. When seated on the ground, placing the dagger onto the moss ahead while clasping my hands with a bowed head carried immense emotional weight. To showcase the star emblem on the back of the cape, I spun around several times during the standing over-the-shoulder frame before capturing the exact instant the cape hem flared aloft. The gaze looking back into the lens while holding a blossom also took several emotional resets to achieve the intended depth.

A huge shoutout must go to makeup artist Qiyi—the base was impeccably clean, harmonizing seamlessly with the overall cool-toned aesthetic. The entire shoot was genuinely demanding, as posing in thigh rings and high socks required constant micro-adjustments, but the final textural quality proved a delightful surprise. The delicate emotional nuances characteristic of Japanese otome game cosplay have always resonated deeply with me, and bringing Yuhiru to life in my own style was a truly special experience. I hope the Traditional Chinese edition of OVER REQUIEMZ finds a warm place in the hearts of many more players.
