The theme of this shoot is a private design version of Eve from Stellar Blade as a nun. The overall tone is set as a cool and aloof mature woman, combined with a black tights outfit and Megane girl cosplay elements that I personally love. Since the setting itself isn't restricted by specific official illustrations, there was immense creative freedom in the costume and styling. The core requirement was to manifest a temperament where a sense of order and allure coexist.

In terms of styling, the first thing that catches the eye is this black-and-white patched nun-style uniform. The upper body adopts crisp white lapels and ruffled shoulder decorations, looking highly clean and sharp visually, a design also intended to highlight the collarbone lines. The large black lantern sleeves layered outside are made of draped fabric, preventing a bloated look while adding a sense of flowing grace. The waist is cinched with a wide black cloth band to raise the waistline. The high-slit design of the hem is crucial because it maximizes the display of leg lines, paired with built-in black garter rings to add detailed layers to the design.

The leg styling is one of the visual highlights of the entire photo set. I chose a matte-textured black tights outfit featuring over-the-knee stockings with subtle lace trim on the edges, adding a touch of exquisite sophistication compared to ordinary tights. The shoes are paired with black patent leather platform high heels. The high heels elongate the leg proportions, and the reflective texture of the patent leather shines brightly under outdoor natural light, pushing the overall look further into a mature woman style.

Regarding accessories, black-rimmed glasses and a crucifix necklace were added this time. The black-rimmed glasses not only serve to flatter the face shape but also enhance a sense of intellectuality and aloofness, echoing the nun elements. The crucifix necklace features a silver chain with a golden crucifix, adding a metallic point of interest within the black-and-white color scheme. For the hairstyle, I used twin tails combined with blue hair accessories and black hairbands, maintaining a youthful touch without being overly sweet. For the makeup, I chose an eye makeup style that naturally enlarges the eyes, and selected a matte brick red for the lip color, which boosts a healthy complexion without disrupting the overall cool atmosphere.

Regarding the shoot, the location was selected at an outdoor staircase, with a background featuring a grey dot-matrix textured wall and green plants. This cool-toned outdoor hard scenery forms a wonderful contrast with the black-and-white color scheme of the costume. The photographer had the model sit on a green metal iron chair for the shoot; the color of the prop chair acted as an accent in the frame, breaking the monotony of the backdrop and the clothing. The light was relatively soft with no intense conflicts between light and shadow, making it highly suitable for this clean and transparent style.

In the pose settings, I experimented with a few different emotional expressions. For instance, the action in photo two of adjusting the glasses while holding a small golden decorative stick in the mouth was intended to bring an interactive feel to the entire frame, making it look slightly playful and breaking the rigidity of the mature woman style. The action of holding the crucifix with both hands while looking straight into the camera emphasizes the character's inner focus. During the shoot, one can try the coordination of eye contact and hand gestures; the frame of the glasses also generates different visual effects as it is pushed up and down, serving as an excellent emotional amplifier for this Megane girl cosplay.

Actually, to shoot a layered look for this kind of nun clothing, the focus still lies within the posture. For sitting positions, it's best to keep the back straight and let the legs extend naturally and comfortably to showcase the body lines' advantages as much as possible—such as leaning forward slightly or crossing the legs, both of which can beautifully elongate the visual effect. This look's inherent black-and-white contrast and the elements of the long stockings mean that post-processing color grading doesn't require overly complex alterations; only a slight adjustment to the contrast is needed to maintain the skin's transparency and the texture of the black tights.

Although the shooting process was somewhat tiring, I'm still very satisfied seeing the final output. Especially this combination of a Megane girl and black tights, it truly holds a lot of performance fun. If we shoot again next time, we might try under slightly darker ambient light to highlight the costume's structural depth.
