This time, I did a few sets of Cosplay outdoor shoots on the streets of Tokyo, choosing character looks with a strong sense of daily life, paired with real streets, stations, and slopes, making the overall vibe very relaxed. As a model who has been in Japan for many years, I am quite experienced in choosing locations for outdoor shoots. Scenes like the ones in the photos with traffic signs and trains can yield pictures full of life, as long as you avoid peak crowd hours. The wig and makeup were all prepped by myself in advance. To coordinate with the natural outdoor light, both the base and eye makeup were given a matte finish so they won't look greasy under harsh light. During the shoot, I actively communicate with the photographer about light angles, like backlit hair strands and side profile presentation, trying to get it right in one go. After all, light changes rapidly outdoors, so efficiency is key. This set of photos uses a prime lens with a large aperture, creating a clean background bokeh to highlight the facial expressions. In fact, I do a lot of Japanese style photography and daily photos normally. There are no style limitations; I can easily pull off traditional Japanese style, school style, or fashion vibes. Since I have lived in Japan long-term, guiding and translating are no problem, making communication basically barrier-free. With an easygoing personality, I ensure the shoot never feels awkward. If there is a character or scene you want to try for a Roleplay, as long as it is suitable for an outdoor shoot, I can adjust my makeup and outfit accordingly. My schedule for the entire cherry blossom season photography is still quite open, so feel free to message me with your ideas to secure your Tokyo photoshoot booking!
