This set of ghost girl cosplay photos was completed in an industrial-style venue at the convention site. Starring myself, Orange cosplay. For the outfit, I chose a pure white tight mini dress with a certain glossy texture that fits the body shape very well. The white fabric draped over the head is the core of the styling; I deliberately adjusted the direction of the wrinkles so that it naturally falls on both sides of the shoulders, forming a hood-like effect. This retains the ghost's mystery without obstructing vision and facial makeup. The wig is made of dark brown long straight hair, with the bangs treated with fluffiness, exposing them from beneath the fabric to add some layering.

The dark tights matched this time are a highlight of the overall styling, featuring a cutout design on the instep and toes, a detail that breaks the dullness of solid-color stockings. When shooting at the convention site, to highlight this detail, I tried two different sitting postures. When sitting sideways, one leg stretches forward with the sole facing the camera, which nicely showcases the line changes of the stockings extending from the legs to the feet. When sitting facing forward, the legs are bent and crossed, with the body leaning forward slightly; this posture is visually more compact and allows the cutout stocking design to be presented more directly in front of the lens.

In terms of makeup, the eye makeup is relatively heavy, using contact lenses to increase the depth of the gaze, clearly drawn eyebrows, and a reddish lip color. In such a convention venue with complex lighting, the contrast of the makeup needs to be slightly higher to stand out. The on-site environment was actually quite noisy, with various photographic lights, trusses, and passing attendees in the background. To prevent the background from overshadowing the subject, the photographer used a color-extraction technique during post-processing—retaining the colors on the subject while converting the background's industrial structures, lighting, and crowds into black-and-white or low-saturation tones. This processing method is extremely effective in this scene, making me stand out prominently in the frame while the black-and-white background enhances the venue's original rugged line feel.

The shooting process was actually a test of physical strength, especially sitting on a cylindrical platform wearing a tight dress and stockings while maintaining an upright posture. To capture a natural and attractive gaze, I kept adjusting my head angle during the shoot, attempting to establish a cold, detached sense of communication with the lens. The overall lighting also helped immensely; the circular lighting group at the top of the venue provided ample top lighting, which, combined with the fill-light equipment brought by the photographer, nicely outlined the character's contours. Judging from the final photos, the texture of the white dress, the contrast of the dark stockings, and the industrial ruin feel of the background blend together quite harmoniously. Every shoot at a convention site is a process of finding the best angle amidst various distractions. For this white-hooded ghost girl styling, I thought about creating a desolate yet slightly mysterious trait right from the early preparation stage, and ultimately achieving a delicate contrast effect in such a rough venue environment—I am personally quite satisfied with it.
