Preparation for this shoot took quite a while, mainly aiming to recreate Promeia's cold, dangerous aura. To match the atmosphere of 'awaiting a trial,' we put a lot of thought into lighting and post-processing, ultimately choosing a pure white background to highlight the costume's texture through strong contrast. With a clean frame, the garment's details and reflections could stand out even better.

Honestly, wearing this outfit looks breathtaking, but only you know what it actually feels like. The patent leather trench coat has an amazing reflective sheen, offering rich layering under studio lighting. However, this material is definitely not breathable, leaving me drenched in sweat after finishing a set. Paired with a high-cut bodysuit and semi-transparent Stockings underneath, along with those heavily crafted over-the-knee boots, the silhouette of the entire look is stretched to the max. Especially with the metal knee guards and silver buckles on the boots, walking feels substantial and naturally forces you into a rigid, upright posture—after all, a slight slouch would ruin the clean lines of the entire gear.

During the shoot, Niu Niu used a Fuji X-M5 paired with an 18-50mm lens, a combination that delivers incredible portrait shots. Fuji's color science handles blacks, whites, grays, and glossy surfaces with exquisite delicacy, basically allowing for straight-out-of-camera results with just minor light and shadow touch-ups. To showcase dynamic tension, I deliberately designed a few exaggerated poses. For example, the single-leg high raise not only fully exposes the details of the tall boots, but the way the coat's hem fans out looks exceptionally sci-fi while perfectly highlighting leg lines. The blue cable prop in the background was also the finishing touch, keeping the overall styling from looking too stiff; while capturing dynamic motion, the curve of the cables added a nice sense of fluidity to the frame.

In terms of expression management, I tried to keep it restrained—the gaze needed to be cold with minimal emotion, projecting a calm, almost scrutinizing vibe. The wig was styled with a few stray wisps that partially obscured my vision, adding a touch of mystery. I kept searching for that downward-glancing perspective, feeling it better fit the character's aura. This styling actually places high demands on physical posture; staying upright is crucial, especially when moving in high heels, requiring a tightly engaged core to avoid stiff movements. The jacket is actually quite heavy, and to make it billow gracefully, I had to expend physical force to fling the hem while controlling my breathing—doing multiple takes really took a toll on my stamina.

A pure white background is quite a test for posing, since there is no environmental context to lean on and all visual weight rests entirely on the subject. Therefore, every joint bend and muscle tension is amplified. We spent an entire afternoon in the studio for this shoot; though tiring, seeing the texture and highlights of the trench coat in the final frames made all the prior preparation completely worthwhile.
