This time, I'm bringing you the finalized photos of Marie's idol outfit from Blue Archive. From the costume to the wig, and to the overall makeup and styling, I tried my best to recreate that idol image shining brightly on the stage. The orange short hair paired with cute animal ears, along with the black and yellow stage outfit, makes the overall color scheme very fresh. To capture a stronger idol atmosphere, I specially used warm-toned lighting to make the skin tone look more translucent, while coordinating with microphone and pistol-shaped props to enhance the storytelling feel for this Cosplay photography session.
In terms of expression management, I referenced Marie's usual gentle yet slightly playful temperament, such as winking and making heart gestures, hoping to convey the vividness of her interacting with the audience on stage. The post-processing layout adopted a scrapbook-style puzzle format, adding hearts, stars, and clip art elements, making the whole set of photos look more like an idol photo poster.
Actually, the shoot highly tested details, such as the bow at the neckline, the pleats of the skirt hem, and the positioning of the accessories, all of which needed repeated adjustments. The wig was also manually trimmed several times to achieve this fluffy and natural curvature. Overall, this cosplay attempt allowed me to deeply experience the cuteness of Marie's character, and I hope to bring everyone a bit of energy and healing vibes through this set of photos.
