Started styling the wig at 7:00 AM, put in the purple-tinted contacts and horn accessories, and slipped into the shirt and denim pinafore dress—this was my designated Bagpipe look from Arknights for today's Foshan CPG08 convention. To capture her capable and cheerful vibe, I emphasized the eye lines slightly while keeping my expressions natural. Holding the chibi folding fan prop, I snapped the first photo outside the venue and felt great about how it turned out. The convention floor was packed, and many fellow fans recognized the character; exchanging thoughts on lore and cosplay styling created a wonderful atmosphere on site. The afternoon was spent browsing artist booths, picking up plenty of merch including posters, acrylic standees, clear files, and various small goodies—spent quite a bit, but it felt thoroughly fulfilling. After the event wrapped, knowing work awaited tomorrow, we spontaneously decided to head to Shunde on empty stomachs for a feast before going home. We found a local eatery and ordered a massive claypot congee with red dates and spare ribs, along with fried flat rice noodles (chow fun), siu mai, and cold dishes, where the cold-tossed peanuts were especially crunchy. Since our group was large, we added several desserts later: two bowls of taro paste soup, a plate of steamed taro chunks, and a whole coconut jelly. The warm congee comforted our stomachs, and the taro was wonderfully soft and sweet. Riding back in the car completely stuffed, this anime convention daily life trip from Shunde was a bountiful success before returning to routine tomorrow.
