I captured a deeply satisfying set of Convention photos at the Bilibili World (BW) booth this time. Preparing for this look took quite some time beforehand. The overall styling adopted a black-and-white color-blocked, functional sweet-and-edgy aesthetic in Anime-style fashion. The top is a black long-sleeved crop top styled with white ruffled shoulder accents, with white linear detailing running along the sleeves to create distinct visual depth. For bottoms, it was paired with a high-waisted black pleated mini-skirt featuring white lace apron-style patchwork along the side, matching the white striping on the top.

The centerpiece accessory was this pair of white mechanical cat-ear headpieces on my head, emblazoned with the numbers 01 and 05 alongside geometric glyphs, injecting an undeniable sci-fi punch into the ensemble. The makeup underwent a major overhaul as well: red contact lenses, warm reddish-pink gradient eyeshadow, vivid blush dusted across the cheeks dotted with faux freckles, bold red lips, and metallic braces. To harmonize with the chromatic palette, I went with long red manicured nails for peak detailing. For hair, I kept straight dark-brown locks with blunt bangs, which framed my face while balancing out the exaggerated presence of the mechanical cat ears.

On the lower half, I wore black Over-the-knee socks embellished with a metallic chain on the left leg and black thigh straps. For footwear, white platform chunky sneakers not only elongated leg lines, but also kept my feet comfortable throughout a whole day walking the con halls. Lighting at BW was complex: the booth's primary palette was vivid yellow and black, accented by curved yellow LED light strips. Such high-saturation backgrounds place heavy demands on personal expression, so choosing a black-and-white outfit was deliberate to ground the background's intensity.

I explored various poses throughout the shoot. While standing as a Uniformed girl, I would point forward with one hand or let it drape naturally, holding a bag or resting my other hand on my waist while locking eyes with the lens to amplify interactive energy. When sitting, I used the black-and-yellow steps as support, bending one leg up onto the step while letting the other drape down naturally, perfectly showcasing the texture of the socks and leg contours. Hand placements like resting my chin on my palm or lightly touching my leg conveyed a relaxed yet subtly assertive mood. The booth was surrounded by photographers snapping shots with telephoto lenses; the energy was amazing, everyone was professional, and communicating angles led to an exceptionally high hit rate of great shots.

Walking through the exhibition hall in this outfit turned plenty of heads. The combination of mechanical cat ears and a functional uniform somewhat limits movement range, so I focused on keeping my posture upright and utilizing arm extensions to introduce dynamic tension. We also framed shots around the booth edge and near the light strips, using the venue's geometric architecture to lead the viewer's eye. Because black garments easily lose textural detail in low light, I favored front lighting or angles with ample booth key lights, ensuring the white striping and ruffles came through crisp and sharp. All in all, it was a smooth, exciting shoot that let me dive into a fresh new style. That's all for today's share!
