Putting on this blue and white color-schemed swimwear and standing by the sea, the moment felt as if I were genuinely surrounded by Barbara's healing magic. This shoot was deliberately scheduled during the hour with the most transparent sunlight, making the sea surface sparkle with ripples, and even the wind carried a faint, salty scent. To restore the character's fresh feeling, the contours of the eyeshadow were softened in the makeup, placing the focus instead on highlighters and a dewy lip color, which, paired with the light golden twin-tail wig, aims to present Barbara's clean yet warm trait under the sunshine.
Quite a few interesting little interludes were encountered during the shoot—for instance, a sudden sea wave dashed over and soaked more than half of my skirt, and the seaweed on the reef almost made me slip—but these unexpected accidents instead added some authentic agility to the frames. Standing in the shallow water, sitting on the rocks, or even gazing at the island on the opposite shore, every single frame strived to capture that leisurely vacation atmosphere belonging to the Knights of Favonius idol. The blue and white clothing blended exceptionally well with the tone of the ocean; the post-processing slightly adjusted the color temperature, steering the frame toward a bright and refreshing Japanese style without excessive modification, retaining the original texture of the sea and sky as much as possible.
The composition of this photo set experimented with different perspectives, including low angles close to the water surface as well as telephoto shots displaying the full view, hoping to express Barbara's sense of healing and the natural beauty of the beach simultaneously. Every single shutter press was an absolute enjoyment; Barbara's singing might not truly reach the ears, but every moment standing right here was enough to make one's mood completely bright and comfortable.
