This photoshoot features Fu Hua's Azure Court bridal gown from Honkai Impact 3rd, complete with interactive storyline scenes alongside the Herrscher of Sentience cosplay. The shoot was mainly completed in an indoor studio. The core of the outfit is a blue-and-white tulle gown with great light translucency. The outer layer consists of semi-sheer white tulle draped over a light blue lining, embedded with pearl chains that spread out naturally during wide movements. On my legs are white thigh-high stockings featuring blue geometric stripes, which provide a strong visual elongation effect and beautifully flatter leg contours once fitted. During the shoot, to best showcase the stockings on camera, I experimented with sitting sideways, gently lifting a leg, and leaning partially against the swing, using angles to visually elongate the legs.
For the set design, a golden birdcage and swing were chosen, surrounded by blue-and-white hydrangea bouquets. The metallic texture of the birdcage created a wonderful contrast against the airy lightness of the floral dress. Green leaves and white blossoms were twined around the swing ropes as accents, requiring care when resting my hands on them to avoid snagging fabric. The photography assistant helped adjust the skirt train throughout the entire shoot, ensuring every detail remained perfectly positioned. For the interactive scenes with the Herrscher of Sentience cosplay, we tried staggered eye contact and front-and-back positioning, using physical distance to convey the deep underlying connection between the characters. Because she had numerous props, we also had to ensure sufficient spatial clearance to prevent cluttered framing.
The wig featured a subtle blue-green gradient with a blue butterfly hair accessory on the side, layered naturally at the tips to blend seamlessly with the deep-blue eyeshadow and the overall blue ambient tone. During fitting, we also adjusted how the headpieces were anchored to keep clips from falling off during a long shoot. In between takes, we monitored reflections from various angles, striving to keep the skin luminous without overexposure. How the lighting caught the white tulle was particularly crucial, balancing facial dimensionality with the drape of the fabric.
In post-processing, we mainly enhanced the cool-toned translucency to restore the serene, ethereal ambiance of the Azure Court theme, while preserving the delicate texture of the tulle and highlights on the pearl necklace. For bridal-themed outfits, the exquisiteness of every detail dictates overall visual quality. Sourcing props and styling the set took significant dedication—especially hand-picking hydrangeas matching the exact palette of the dress. The final output turned out ideal, and several interactive shots captured the desired emotional resonance. The entire shoot was fast-paced and tightly coordinated, nailing both static displays and two-person synergy for a deeply fulfilling photoshoot experience.
