[Flandre Scarlet Cosplay] Invitation from the Scarlet Devil Mansion in Touhou Project

This shoot centered on the Flandre Scarlet theme from Touhou Project. Wearing the red-and-white Vintage dress, the layered lace and ruffles were exceptionally rich in texture—honestly, arranging the garments between takes took longer than triggering the shutter. The long golden wig was crucial to fidelity, requiring detailed styling. Stepping before the mirror in full attire captured that quintessential cosplay allure.

The studio decor was remarkably tailored. The opening tabletop scene featured draped crimson velvet curtains under direct spotlighting. Perched before a vintage teacup set with a miniature teapot in hand, encircled by metallic birdcages and plush teddy bears, the lighting instantly heightened that delightfully twisted mood. Wooden parquet flooring and raking natural side-light cast structured shadows, pairing with button-tufted sofas and fur accents to push vintage fidelity to the peak.

A crimson apple and rainbow crystal wand props introduced playful character depth. While aiming for Flandre's signature blend of mischievous whimsy and danger, hugging the plush bear often drifted into relaxed innocence. Poses ranged from reclining sideways across the tabletop to sitting on parquet floors gazing upward into the lens. Dense ruffles and structured skirts grew warm during the session, yet balancing classical European weight with doll-like serenity produced a bizarre, quiet dark-fairytale aesthetic that faithfully realized the Scarlet Devil Mansion vision.
