[Furina Cosplay] Spending a Leisurely Afternoon in Broad Town's European-Style Courtyard

I completed this Furina cosplay photoshoot with a Lolita custom design at Changsha Broad Town. Compared to studio shoots, the light blue and white dress and the giant fork prop feel much more "breathing" and alive in front of real European architecture and green lawns. The courtyard scenery at Broad Town is indeed perfect for this kind of girlish theme. The grayish-white arched windows of the building serve as a backdrop that beautifully complements the light blue and white hair and dress. The afternoon light was very soft, capturing the texture details of the dress's lace pleats and hair strands without the need for excessive studio lighting or reflectors.

This custom look is different from the official game design, leaning more towards a romantic, classic Lolita dress feel. The dress is made of multiple layers of ruffles and fine lace, making it look very puffy and three-dimensional, yet daily movements remain quite effortless. The white boots on my feet match these light blue elements perfectly. The platform white boots and white stockings beautifully contour and showcase the leg lines under natural outdoor light, and paired with the height of the bench, the sitting pose worked out ideally. I intentionally chose this iron bench for the shoot. To enrich the composition, besides the striking giant fork, I also prepared a light-colored plush toy to coordinate my hand movements.

During the shoot, the photographer @Bainian captured the moments very quickly; he has a precise grasp of the rhythm of natural-light outdoor shoots. We smoothly transitioned through several poses—for instance, looking more relaxed while holding the toy, maintaining a natural facial expression when resting my chin in my hands and looking up, or casually leaning on the bench to add a sense of agility to the frame. The cover photo features a comfortable sitting posture, with legs naturally lowered and eyes locking directly with the lens, which, paired with the blurred background, makes the subject-background relationship very clear. When preparing for an outdoor shoot, finding a bench or steps with a distinct style can truly achieve twice the result with half the effort, preventing the scene from looking too empty. I am very satisfied with the overall atmosphere of this set of photos. Without overly complex studio lighting, it purely relies on the natural light of the day and the green tone of the lawn, giving a very refreshing, exquisite feeling akin to a casual day trip.
