Built on a foundation of Chinese-style fantasy, this Wuthering Waves outfit incorporates numerous designs fusing the modern with fantasy. The long hair streaked with black and blue required meticulous grooming of its highlighted layers; the golden bird hair accessory and red tassels overhead demanded care during movement so they wouldn't tangle with the locks. The makeup focused on the eyes: bright blue contact lenses paired with subtly flushed reddish eyeshadow created a clear, slightly mysterious aesthetic under the studio lights. The white Feather element adorning the neckline served as the visual focal point of the whole costume; to keep the plumage fluffy and natural, considerable time was spent arranging it before shooting, ensuring every feather felt light and airy amidst the mist.
The garment construction is quite intricate: the black lace inner layer and wide outer sleeves patterned with cloud motifs had to remain smooth. The metallic rings at the waist and the blue sash serve as key anchors linking the upper and lower halves. The skirt features an irregular, tattered hemline, and its high-slit cut required extra care with sitting postures to display leg lines while preventing wardrobe slips. The accessories were extensive—from silver arm bracers to rings and ankle details, every facet received meticulous presentation before the lens. The art direction of Wuthering Waves inherently possesses immense visual tension, and pairing it with traditional lotus and bamboo elements within the festive context of Mid-Autumn was an exhilarating endeavor.
