After planning this set of Jujutsu High days uniforms for a long time, I finally shot this Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru cosplay photoshoot with Jingu Master. From custom-making the costumes to scouting venues, this photoset took a long time to prepare from start to finish, and we encountered many unexpected situations along the way, but seeing the final finished prints, I feel truly satisfied in my heart.

In terms of costumes, to get as close as possible to the texture of the Jujutsu High days, we specially custom-ordered black high-collar tops and matching trousers. On my end as Gojo Satoru, the wig chose a silver-white color with a bit of fluffiness, and the sunglasses were finalized on this round-frame model after picking through several pairs. Although the black Jujutsu High uniform looks very cool, wearing such a thick whole set of black clothing while moving around during this shoot actually brought a very high perceived body temperature due to the weather. For Jingu Master's look as Geto Suguru, the black mask and black long bloomers were also tailored very appropriately, which, paired with small leather shoes, beautifully brought out the overall linearity.

On the shooting day, we selected this spot, and the lighting was exceptionally great. Shooting a formal photoset prioritizes light and composition the most, especially this kind of outdoor natural light. This set of photos was mostly taken during the golden hour before sunset, with the sunlight striking diagonally, casting very long shadows on the steps, making the atmospheric feel even better than what was previously expected. We shot several sets of scenes—standing side by side, sitting and chatting casually, and leaning together with arms on shoulders. Actually, the standing part was quite easy, primarily to look for that strongest majestic aura; when the two stand there, it shouldn't be too tense, needing to be relaxed but not slouched.

The few pictures of interacting while sitting on the steps are parts I personally love a lot. This kind of relaxed physical contact heavily tests the tacit understanding between partners. The two of us have done cosplay together several times before, so the shooting rhythm matched up quite well. The idea at that time was to present an atmosphere of fighting side by side during their youth; without needing too many movements or forced, exaggerated expressions, a natural state conversely fit the feeling of this setting best.

Regarding equipment, besides the clothes, the shoes on our feet and some small accessories were also adapted to match as much as possible. As everyone can probably see, our styles maintain consistency—black bottoms with thick soles, providing a very good visual balance. The sunlight on the shooting day moved very fast, so to catch the optimal light, we barely rested and kept changing angles and poses. The photography master was also very patient, constantly guiding us to look for light positions; the reflections of the stone materials on the steps or the light transmission of the glass curtain walls were all taken into deep consideration into the composition.

Although this set of costumes and wigs is indeed complex to wear and carry, I feel all the preparations were completely worth it to ultimately obtain this photoset. Thanks to Jingu Master for cooperating with me to finish this photoset that I've been longing for, and thanks to all the masters who worked hard on photography back then. Whether it's the preparation of costumes, makeup, and props, or the final presented effect of these photographs, I feel quite satisfied myself. If there are opportunities later, I might plan other styling attempts, but this Jujutsu High combination counts as a very clear imprint left in my cosplay journey.

I'll post these few prints that I prefer from the finished photos of this shoot first. If there are more retouched images later, I will slowly organize them out.
