This time, targeting the styling of Komeiji Satori, I've compiled a set of real-shot poses with plush props at conventions, hoping to offer some inspiration to beginners who freeze up in front of the camera, serving as a guide for saving those who struggle with posing.

Many cosplayers often fall into an awkward situation at anime conventions, especially when covered in various accessories and plushies, not knowing where to put their hands or how to stand. To deal with this, I tried 16 different poses based on this Komeiji Satori outfit, with the core concept of how to make good use of the black cat, crow, and the orange loop props.

Let's look at the standing poses first. Standing straight facing the camera can often make the frame look stiff. Using the loop prop to create visual guide lines can effectively break the ice. For instance, raising the orange ring with red spikes with one hand, or letting it naturally drape between the arm and waist while subtly twisting the body, can showcase the layers of clothing folds and make the posture look more dynamic. When holding the black cat plush, you can lightly pinch its back with your index finger and thumb, extending the arm naturally upwards and outwards, which visually elongates the upper body proportions.

Relying on supports in the environment is another excellent way of saving those who struggle with posing. The white folding ladder and low circular platform shown in the pictures are highly useful small props. Sitting on the small white ladder, utilize the height difference of the steps to naturally stagger your legs. Extending one foot forward and down while bending the other to step on the tier or platform creates a fantastic leg-elongating effect, which, paired with the plush white socks and round-toe shoes, offers both a cute texture and a visually leg-lengthening perspective. Hands can be placed naturally on the knees or hold the black cat plush in one hand, subtly looking at the camera without forcing it, to achieve a natural and vivid feel.

The circular platform sitting pose demonstration leans towards a quiet and playful vibe. Sitting cross-legged while hugging the black cat close to the chest creates a comfortable, enveloped feeling for the character. At this moment, the puffy skirt hem of the outfit spreads out on the platform, which beautifully shapes the figure. Another side-sitting method is more relaxed, shifting the center of gravity to one side; you can place the black cat plush on the platform beside you and rest your other hand on your knee, paired with subtle expressions like looking down or up, making the frame perfect as a reference for close-ups or half-body shots.

This Komeiji Satori look has highly vivid colors. The short pink curly hair paired with white flower hair accessories is extremely eye-catching against a dark background. The fabric of the costume uses plenty of soft lace and tulle, rich in layers and lightweight. Therefore, when taking photos, I specifically chose a solid black background paired with a single-light source highlight setup. This suppresses the interference of messy elements, maximizing the prominence of the outlines and textures of the pink skirt hem and white plush socks/shoes, while making the black cat plush and orange ring in hand stand out even more in the contrast of black, white, and pink.

In practice, even without a ladder or a low platform, you can still utilize safe passage steps, benches, or handrails at anime conventions as supports. The key is to remember the principle: "never leave your hands empty, and keep a height variation in your legs." Plushies or props are the best interaction medium; whether raising them high, holding them close to your cheek, or resting them casually by your leg, they can instantly harmonize a stiff body.
