This photoshoot features Yuzuriha Inori's black feather gown look from the first episode MV of Guilty Crown; the atmosphere of that scene is truly powerful. To recreate that slightly mysterious and fragile feeling, we specifically found a dark-toned setting filled with white flowers. Paired with cool blue ambient lighting, it perfectly highlights the contrast between the black dress style and her fair hair. The wig is a newly trimmed pink gradient, and the positions of the red hairpins on both sides and the choker were carefully adjusted according to the original design. The makeup was not intentionally made heavy, focusing on preserving her clear and slightly detached expression. During the shoot, we tried several different angles, from a close-up of curling up on a chair to a high-angle full shot, as well as the close-up of reaching out to offer a flower, all trying to match the storyboards in the MV as closely as possible. The hem of this outfit uses many irregular feather-like panels. Although it easily got caught on flower branches when walking around, the messy and shattered effect in the final prints conversely fit the character's temperament much better. The lighting was actually a difficult point—requiring both a translucent cool fair skin tone and clear layers in the black fabric. Special thanks to the photographer for repeatedly adjusting the reflectors and softboxes on site. In this final selection of photos, some feature quiet gazes into the camera, while others show me buried in the flowers with eyes closed. Although so many years have passed since this classic series aired, waking up these nostalgic anime memories, putting on this outfit again instantly brings me right back into that sad yet gorgeous story.
