[Sunohara Kokona cosplay] Blue Archive's Black and White School Profile

Today's set of photos was taken in a real school classroom setting, paired with this modified outfit with animal ears, hoping to restore her tsundere and slightly childish personality base. To increase realism, I specially emphasized the depiction of the eye contours, matching the slightly red corners of the eyes and the orange-yellow pupil color in the makeup to create an innocent yet serious and focused expression.

In terms of clothing design, the long black outer coat with white stripes is designed with exposed shoulders, combined with a red rope knot at the neckline and a blue-and-white pattern patchwork at the cuffs, keeping the overall styling from feeling too heavy. The inner white short skirt and black mid-calf socks, paired with black glossy loafers, naturally present a vibrant student vibe in the solid wood-toned classroom environment.

Two quite interesting props were used during the shooting process. The stick figure drawing I held up in one of the images features a grinning villain outlined in red lines; this slightly childlike prop does a great job of creating a relaxed and funny atmosphere in the frame. The incredibly huge orange plush throw pillow switched in later became another core of interaction. Holding that pillow creates a very obvious gap moe effect, amplifying the character's own childish sense.

In discussing the early lighting and composition, we decided to try to use soft natural light for shooting, matching the raw wood-colored school desks and chairs, scattered triangles, and color-covered textbooks at the scene to give the image a strong texture of school life. The chalk graffiti and those blurred square characters on the background blackboard also added a sense of daily narrative to the scene.

Because the character I'm roleplaying inherently carries traits of being easily embarrassed and throwing tantrums, I didn't deliberately try to create a mature and stable aura when posing. Instead, I presented it in some ways that looked relatively clumsy, playful, and even with a bit of a small temper, such as sitting on the edge of the desk tugging at my animal ears at the beginning, or simply sitting on the wooden floor and making that quiet shushing gesture. In the close-up shot holding the pillow later, I also showed a sense of reliance by lowering my head against the pillow, attempting to convey that not-so-perfect yet close personal temperament.

Although some small twists and turns were encountered during the shooting process, such as the long silver-white wig being easy to catch on the rope knots of the clothes, or the floor easily kicking up dust when walking around, the final image quality was still very translucent. Even those backgrounds with clutter captured casually during shooting actually fit better with the daily and imperfect tone of the original setting. This real-life school setting experience was quite fun overall; if there is an opportunity in a real outdoor or new scene next time, we should be able to dig out a different feeling. I hope this set of photos with a bit of a daily feel can convey her unique and cute school attributes in anime-style photography.
