The photos of Tachibana Nozomi are finally sorted out, and there are plenty of behind-the-scenes details worth sharing. Starting with the outfit: a navy military-style uniform paired with high-waisted shorts. To nail that crisp, sharp tailoring, the costume underwent several rounds of fine-tuning after completion. The top features a cropped, midriff-baring cut; to keep movements unrestricted and prevent the hem from rolling up during poses, anti-slip grips and hidden snaps were added inside. The double-breasted gold buttons and blue edge-piping details looked stunningly tactile under the studio lights. The silhouette of the shorts was also adjusted across multiple fittings, pairing with a black belt to raise the waistline and flatter overall body proportions. For the White tights, I chose a slightly thicker, opaque variety, which smoothed out skin tones evenly under the lighting while creating a vivid color contrast against the navy uniform, evoking a distinct schoolroom mood alongside the classroom desks.

The green halo overhead was one of the visual centerpieces of the entire ensemble. Its interior was crafted from lightweight materials, so it added virtually no strain on my head, though the anchoring angle required constant vigilance to preserve that flawless hovering illusion from both high and low camera angles. The twin-tail wig was expertly styled by the wig maker Lingxi. Managing such long, voluminous twin-tails is tricky because they tangle easily, so hair strand grooming was paramount—balancing the weighty drape of the pigtails while keeping the ahoge standing perkily and naturally on top. The elf-ear prosthetics blended well with my skin tone, requiring meticulous blending with skin wax and adhesive along the edges to prevent lifting during dynamic poses. To embody Nozomi's persona, the eye makeup was tailored around glowing amber contact lenses, slightly flicking the outer corners to add a touch of mischievous, devilish charm.

The shoot took place at the Shihun Photography Studio. The seamless white walls and standard classroom desks formed a minimalist setting that allowed the subject to pop completely. The photographer, Master Haise, was exceptionally meticulous with lighting; the bright studio strobes brought out an immaculate, vibrant contrast between the bright green hair and the navy uniform, keeping the frames clean and luminous. In choreographing poses to convey dynamic energy and subtle allure, I tried kneeling directly on the desks or sitting on the edge with legs crossed. Sitting on a desktop with crossed legs may look effortless, but it heavily engages core balance to maintain an erect posture while beautifully accentuating the texture of the white tights and the elongated lines of the legs. The white short gloves and the blue armband on the left sleeve served as polished finishing touches. Throughout the session, I constantly reminded myself to channel that slightly proud yet sweet expression, interacting with the lens through glances over the shoulder and angled turns. Overall, this set harmoniously blended military uniform sharpness with adorable prop accents, making the entire shoot a genuinely delightful experience.
