[Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska Cosplay] Convention Photos Express from Yangzhou's One-third of the Bright Moonlit Night!

March 1st convention photos of Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska cosplay shot at the Yangzhou \"One-third of the bright moonlit night\" Arknights-only event, and I've finally picked out a batch of satisfying ones to share. The lighting on the convention day was actually quite complex; the venue had a large area of skylights, making the light and shadow contrast very intense. Coordinated with the photographer, we found several angles that avoided the direct harsh light yet provided rim lighting, and the final resulting effect is quite airy.

A lot of thought went into the accuracy of this costume. First is the hair—the little ahoge on the top of the head and the fluffiness of the twin-tails needed wig styling spray to hold up, and the gradient transition at the hair ends to pink-white also took a long time to process. The light pink curved horn accessories on both sides feel very lightweight and fit right against the ears, without giving off a heavy plastic vibe. The collar of the light purple shirt on the upper body was firmly set, and with the small black tie, the overall look has a school-style mixed with fantasy vibe. The sleeves of that white long trench coat on the outside are super wide, which indeed makes movements a bit restricted, especially when holding the staff, as the sleeves easily slide down.

In terms of props, this withered tree-shaped staff is the essence of the entire look. There are red, blue, and silver tri-colored leaves on the branches; although it looks like dry tree branches, it's actually made of lightweight materials, so it won't be too tiring to hold in hand. Striking poses while holding it during the shoot required some clever positioning; otherwise, it would easily block the facial light or cast shadows on the clothes.

Among this set of photos, I am relatively satisfied with the reflection shot where I am sitting on the floor. The reflection on the ground happens to mirror the whole person and the staff, instantly giving depth to the frame that was originally at eye-level. There are also the few frames posing on the ladder; although it looks a bit high-and-low scattered, it beautifully showcases the irregular wavy edges of this outfit's hem and the layers of the black miniskirt. The boots are white calf-high platform boots, paired with black stockings and ripped details on the legs, visually elongating the body proportions as a whole.

Walking back and forth all day with the staff at the venue, I found my shoulders and waist were extremely sore by the time I took off my makeup and finished up. However, being able to cosplay a game character I have always loved, especially in a pure Arknights-only venue, the overall feeling was still very worth it. The temperature in Yangzhou that day was a bit chilly, but fortunately, the venue interior was quite warm, so it didn't affect the state of the cosplay photography. The photographer was excellent at capturing that relaxed feeling, and my skin tone looked completely undistorted under natural light.

Let's look forward to the bunny this week, hoping to continue maintaining a relaxed shooting state by then. The pairing of the wavy-edged coat and miniskirt in this Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska outfit is quite convenient when the workload is large; the only thing to watch out for is not to hit nearby passing fellow fans when holding the staff during our upcoming sessions.
