[Cartethyia Cosplay] Serene Daily Life in a Church Sea of Flowers, Teaser Trailer Successfully Archived

The photographer's speed in delivering photos is truly astonishing; the teaser trailer cuts were completed at the speed of light. This highly efficient collaboration experience is just fantastic. This time, we chose the grand cathedral scene in P2 Space. I was deeply attracted by that massive stained-glass window when passing by before, and when actually stepping into the studio and seeing the light filtering through the painted glass, I instantly felt the unique aura belonging to this scene. The cool-toned blue-purple glass pieced with green hills and winding paths provides an excellent depth of field and color foil in the lens for this church-style photography.

The set design was very meticulous with the flowers this time; stacked white roses, light blue-grey dried flowers, and blue-green foliage, combined with semi-transparent blue curtains, constructed a serene sea of flowers. I wore that light gauze outfit dominated by a light grey and white patchwork, with a black sleeveless inner lining as the base, and a semi-transparent cape with subtle totem prints on the outside. The long straight golden wig underwent careful combing and styling, and the small blue star-shaped hair accessories on both sides added fairytale colors. That pair of elf ears and bright blue colored contact lenses made the overall styling more three-dimensional. When applying makeup, I deliberately made the base makeup very clean and translucent to highlight the water-blue forehead ornament, while also matching the cold sharpness of the bright blue contact lenses to complete the elf ear look.

During the shoot, I sat into the flower pile with my hands resting on my knees, my bare feet lightly stepping on the petals, and the fine chain on my ankle glittering slightly with my posture. That crystal-textured sword with an orange hilt rested behind me; although it was a prop, it carried a heavy feel in hand, making it easier to get into character. While adjusting poses to capture frames during this cosplay photography session, I tried to completely immerse myself into the emotion of the line: "Is this world happy? If it is happy, then let me take away the pain." It wasn't a shouting type of sorrow, but rather a calm, resolute gaze that accepts destiny, creating a marvelous chemical reaction with the church-style photography set.

However, every shoot is accompanied by a little bit of trouble. This time, a so-called non-famous brand Cartethyia costume was used. Although I tried my best to balance it in hair and makeup, some hard accessories and headpieces were still unsatisfactory in terms of fit and durability. Every time I adjusted my posture, I had to be extremely careful to prevent them from falling off or shifting, which truly tested my patience. To the point where when I finished shooting this set, my heart screamed countless times: next time I must absolutely buy a deluxe brand Cartethyia! Using a non-famous one is painful everywhere, dammit. But it is precisely this obsession with perfect results that makes every process of being a coser filled with challenges and fun.

Aside from the props, grooming the wig also took a lot of time, especially the blue star decorations on both sides of the top of the head, which needed to be carefully positioned amidst the hair strands. When putting on the dual pointed ears for the elf ear look, the visual appeal from both the front and side profiles was also considered to avoid any angles that would ruin the illusion as much as possible. Controlling the light positions and composition during the shoot was also quite important; the angle found by the photographer, cooperating with the on-site lighting, captured the ruffles and transparency of the light gauze beautifully, clearly distinguishing the layers between the character and the background.

I look forward to fully digesting the details of this creation and properly organizing the official cuts in the coming days. Although only the teaser cuts have been released, the moment I saw this set of preview images, I truly felt that all the effort was well worth it.
