To capture this Azur Lane Laffey Bunny Girl outfit nicely, a lot of thought went into the pre-shoot preparations. From selecting fabrics to coordinating props, every step was confirmed repeatedly. The glossy metallic blue bodysuit reflects light strongly under studio lighting, setting high demands for the ambient light: too bright causes overexposure, while too dim lacks texture. I paired this high-cut bodysuit with a pair of White stockings (tights), which not only visually elongates leg lines, but also neutralizes the cold, rigid feel of the metallic blue to make the overall look softer. I also selected White stockings with a slightly thicker yet elastic texture, preventing weird glare on camera while hugging the leg lines smoothly.

For the headpiece, the blue trim and pink inner lining of the bunny ear headband echo the color palette of the costume, with two white fluffy pom-poms at the base adding a dynamic touch. For the wig, I chose long, curly silver-white hair with blunt bangs; paired with red colored contacts and red eyeshadow, it draws focus to the face immediately. The eye makeup used slightly exaggerated red blending, with a hint of pink on the lower eyelids to heighten an innocent charm. A pink bunny hairpin was clipped to the side of the wig as a subtle accent. The wig has great volume and feels somewhat heavy on the head; wearing it for an extended shoot made my neck sore, but I endured it for the sake of the styling effect.

I also paid close attention to costume details. The white plush bunny on the chest, with its simple straight-line eyes, is extraordinarily cute, adorned below with pink beads and tassels that sway with movement. The detached arm puff sleeves also sport a white-and-blue palette with fluffy pom-poms at the cuffs, while my left hand held a black circular tray—a prop that allowed me to strike more poses true to the character design. During the shoot, I continually adjusted the angle of holding the tray to block areas prone to harsh glare while keeping postures natural. The tray had some weight to it, so balancing it one-handed for poses really tested wrist strength, though thankfully the final shots turned out very natural.

The background featured a white wrought-iron bench and screens with hollowed-out gold patterns, complemented by white gauze drapes and hanging yellow floral vines, aiming to cultivate a clean, slightly dreamy atmosphere. Although this outfit is gorgeous, it is quite tight, and the high-cut cut requires constant posture awareness. Because the wig was very long, it easily tangled, necessitating several touch-ups and wig comb-throughs during breaks. Softboxes were used for lighting to keep facial shadows soft, harmonizing with the glossy fabric, and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. Fusing Laffey's personality with bunny girl elements felt well-captured, and I hope everyone loves this set. Post-processing mainly refined the fabric's luster and skin tones, preserving the authentic raw textures as much as possible for this Laffey cosplay and Bunny girl cosplay shoot.
