Today, the Convention photos from Chongqing Dreamland Comic Con were finally retouched. With ground temperatures pushing nearly 40 degrees Celsius, enduring the blazing sun in front of an outdoor steel-frame structure to shoot this Crystal Rose Lux cosplay from League of Legends: Wild Rift was purely an act of perseverance.

The details of this outfit are exceptionally intricate. The bodice features metallic-textured white fabric contoured with golden waistlines, while the skirt is a glitter-dusted light-blue puff silhouette that produces gorgeous physical light reflection when twirling. To faithfully restore the skin splash art's visual effects, I deliberately paired it with White stockings pantyhose and white high heels; the blue-and-white veil on my head and the bouquet of blue-and-white roses in hand were also carefully matched step-by-step according to the original artwork.

Even though the heat made the wig stick uncomfortably to my face, facial expression management before the lens is a fundamental skill for any cosplayer. The first photo features holding the bouquet in both hands to greet the camera, while the second captures a one-leg kick to showcase the curved flare of the skirt hem. To display the skirt's rich layers and dynamic fluidity, the photographer shot from a low upward angle, requiring me to lean slightly forward and present the bouquet toward the lens—a pose demanding tight core engagement to keep from wobbling on high heels. The silver-thread reflective fabric of this dress easily overexposed under intense natural sunlight; fortunately, the sky was pristine blue that day, and the photographer framed the geometric lines of the architecture against the azure sky, superbly accentuating the main subject.

Under 38-degree heat, wrapped in long sheer tulle gloves and a voluminous gown, every pose required immediate makeup touch-ups and wig adjustments. Sweat soaked through the inner layers, yet seeing the luminous interplay of light and shadow on the camera display made every bit of dedication deeply rewarding. As a cosplayer who frequently shoots on location, I always believe that garment texture, prop completeness, and the synergy of gaze and movement are what grant 2D characters authentic presence in real life. Through eye contact and guided body language, the character's inherent elegance and gentleness can be conveyed directly to the viewer. Today's Convention photos were not just about restoring the character, but also an endurance challenge for myself. With more shooting plans ahead, I'll continue refining pose nuances, hoping every press of the shutter captures the best possible state.
