[Rapi Cosplay] Goddess of Victory: Nikke, A Refreshing Moment by the Pool - Image 2

This shoot features Rapi's swimwear look from Goddess of Victory: Nikke, aiming to record the character's daily life by the summer waterside through this set of photos. The outdoor pool environment of the shooting location fits this theme perfectly; the azure water glistens, and the woven rattan lounge chairs with white cushions provide an excellent visual texture. Red hair, black hairpins paired with a blue headband and choker—these iconic head elements of Rapi are combined together. Although changed into casual wear, it still retains high recognizability.

The outfit itself is not the common traditional swimwear, but adopts a sporty T-shirt with a white base and blue-green patchwork, where the "01" character on the chest is a highly interesting small detail, paired with white swim shorts and striking red thin straps on both sides, looking relatively full of vitality overall. During the shoot, to present a more natural posture, I chose to sit on the lounge chair, leaning my body slightly backward and to the side, with one arm supporting on the cushion and the other arm hanging down naturally, extending both legs forward cross-legged, which can elongate the leg lines in the frame. The first image is a relatively compact composition with the primary subject centered, displaying body details and facial expressions quite clearly. My photo buddy also suggested using this one as the cover when sorting out the sample images; from the perspective of visual center of gravity and composition, the character is indeed not located at the frame edges, giving the layout a stronger sense of hierarchy.

The light on the day of the shoot was relatively strong, and the light spots reflected on the water surface provided a great layer of light and shadow, but it also increased the difficulty of light control. To guarantee the accurate restoration of the character's skin tone and costume colors, special attention was paid to exposure compensation during shooting, trying to avoid the loss of highlight details caused by overexposure while preserving the translucent feel of the background pool water. Outdoor swimwear photography is heavily influenced by environmental factors, requiring timely adjustments of angles according to light changes. This time, I attempted a style leaning toward a casual everyday Anime Life Archive, rather than purely highlighting the character's combat traits. After all, Rapi also has her own moments of relaxation.

While showcasing the character's charm with this outfit, I also paid attention to the safety conveyed by the frame, maintaining normal pool activity attire without any improper guidance. In terms of scene coordination, the water spout next to the lounge chair happened to splash water drops, adding some dynamic elements to the frame, yet I still selected that state where the primary character subject is more complete and quiet for the first cover image, which fits the photography texture better. During post-processing, I also tried my best to preserve the realism of the skin texture, without over-smoothing to destroy the light and shadow, focusing instead on highlighting the contrast between the character's silhouette and the clothing materials, allowing the red hair, white T-shirt, and the background blue-green water surface to form a comfortable color triangle. This concludes the shooting record for this Rapi swimwear look within my cosplay journey.
