Restoring Remilia at the Firefly ACG Expo this time really brought a great sense of accomplishment. To precisely restore this red and white interwoven gown, a lot of thought went into the layered folds and lace details of the costume. This complex craftsmanship showcases excellent texture under the lens. Especially when paired with the huge red scythe and iconic bat wings, that gorgeous Gothic style instantly leaps off the page. Under the lighting arrangement at the convention venue, the dynamic feel of the gown was perfectly captured through Convention photography, making the extension of every movement look very natural. The core visual point of this shoot is the impact of "scarlet." Through the contrast of light and shadow, the character's unique temperament of coexisting elegance and dominance can be felt in every photo. As a cosplayer, I pay great attention to the alignment between the costume and the character's personality, so I repeatedly polished the saturation of the red color and the structure of the wings multiple times. Although the environment at the convention was quite complex and the shooting process consumed a lot of physical energy, seeing the color effects presented in the final photos made all the hard work completely worth it. Special thanks to photographer Zero for the professional capture, precisely recording the images of this moment, and I hope everyone can feel the detailed aesthetics in this work.
