Bringing this police-style cosplay look to Firefly ACG Expo took considerable dedication from planning through to the on-site shoot. The overarching concept leaned toward a blend of tactical edge and formal uniform aesthetics: a blue flat-topped peaked cap adorned with a golden badge injected a distinct touch of firmness. For the top, I chose a sleeveless white collared shirt to keep shoulder lines crisp and clean, paired with a hot-pink tie finished with a white heart accent at the tip. This vibrant clash of colors broke the visual monotony of conventional black, white, and blue palettes.

The materials chosen for the lower half were the true centerpiece of the wardrobe. The black glossy patent leather romper delivered intense specular highlights. To introduce layered dimension, multiple leather straps with metal buckles were cinched around the waist and thighs. Because these harness straps tend to shift while walking, they had to be readjusted and secured before every take. Beneath, I wore sheer black tights paired with glossy black stockings and over-the-knee patent leather high-heeled boots; the sheer hosiery juxtaposed with the reflective boot shafts visually elongated leg proportions. That said, this material offers near-zero breathability; surrounded by dense convention crowds, completing a single set left me drenched in sweat, and patent leather picks up fingerprints so easily that regular wipe-downs with a soft cloth were essential.

For accessories, wearing a black headset microphone not only elevated the head styling, but also anchored a pronounced character presence. The wig featured straight shoulder-length locks in a muted purplish-gray with wispy, textured bangs; to maintain volume, my friend helped refluff the curves between movements. For makeup, I deliberately deepened the blending of reddish eyeshadow along the lower lash line to lend the gaze an assertive yet languid edge, balanced with a matte nude-pink lip to keep focal points from cluttering the face.

The shooting location was framed against a muted grayish-blue wall, where coarse concrete textures formed an appealing contrast against the gleaming patent leather. Under natural daylight, capturing black glossy highlights depends heavily on angles, and the photographer guided my body orientation continuously to trap the cleanest specular gleams. Striking poses—whether saluting with one hand or leaning forward toward the camera—demanded bracing the core and leveling shoulders to highlight the waistline without allowing fabric bunches across the midriff. Posing continuously in high heels was physically demanding, but seeing the patent sheen and balanced body proportions in the final frames made every bit of effort worthwhile.

Successfully wrapping this set amidst the bustling environment of Firefly ACG Expo owes immense thanks to the photographer's patient eye and friends helping on set. This ensemble struck a compelling balance between uniform structure and personalized flair, teaching me plenty about fabric textures, light capture, and structural coordination. Convention halls are loud and lighting shifts rapidly, testing live adaptability—every shutter click was a true evaluation of on-the-spot execution.
