This time, I went to take a set of Rem cosplay photos in front of the refrigerated display at a Lawson Convenience store. Because the blue-and-white lace bonnet and light Blue hair occupied a significant visual area, I had to pay close attention to angles when moving along the shelves, as the bonnet could easily obscure my face. For makeup, I specifically selected blue-tinted colored contacts and slightly downturned eyeliner, paired with subtle pink-purple eyeshadow, striving to faithfully recreate that quiet yet focused expression characteristic of the character. The pose holding the milk bottle was adjusted multiple times to ensure it looked natural without blocking my eyes, while allowing the lighting to catch my cheeks just right. The fabric of the white lace dress in Lolita style was very soft, yet prone to creasing, requiring me to stand upright for most of the shoot. The cool white lighting inside the store truly tested the delicacy of the makeup; to counter this, I kept the base makeup sheer and applied an extra layer of blush to offset any pallor caused by the cool light. The photographer handled composition and depth of field wonderfully, especially in close-ups, capturing that effortless, casual feel of picking items off the shelves. The whole process felt like pretending to pick milk while braving curious glances from passing shoppers. The overall ambiance of the styling blended intriguingly with the everyday Convenience store setting, resembling a fleeting glimpse on one's way home from work.
