Cosplaying Reze from Chainsaw Man at iJoy this time, I'm sharing a set of Convention photos. Wanting to capture her enigmatic yet slightly languid aura, I chose this black off-the-shoulder bodycon mini dress paired with Black stockings and heels. The cut of the dress hugs the silhouette very closely; moving around required constant attention to engaging the core and holding proper poise to maintain sleek lines, which fortunately paid off in the final selects. The purple wig served as the anchor of the look, paired with green contact lenses to stand out distinctly across the convention hall floor.

The shooting process tested patience, but the photographer excelled at candid timing, deliberately positioning us along the periphery of the hall where high-contrast lighting accentuated body curves and the sheer texture of the Black stockings. The small white daisy held in hand was an essential prop, softening the severity of the black dress. To complement the off-the-shoulder neckline, I layered a black choker with a silver necklace to add textural detail. Standing in heels for nearly a full day left my feet aching, yet reviewing the finished frames made it entirely worthwhile. Because the dress exposes every curve, extensive posture prep preceded the event, aligned with cool-toned makeup to channel her reserved, restrained persona. For an enigmatic character like her, expression and eye control are critical—striking a gaze that is both dazed and tinged with aloof cool, something we aligned on repeatedly during the session.

The venue was the iJoy exhibition center, teeming with crowds, meaning multiple laps around the hall to locate clean background angles. Despite cluttered ambient lighting and busy surroundings, the resulting contrast actually enhanced the visual punch. Much thought went into styling details: the dress hem sat right at mid-thigh, visually elongating leg lines when paired with lustrous hosiery. Simple as the flower was, we tested several hand angles to match the character's demeanor organically. Walking the floor, many fellow fans recognized the cosplay, sparking great conversations about the Chainsaw Man plot and plenty of guest photos. Pulling off a form-fitting character demands strict body discipline, plus constant vigilance against snagging or running the hosiery on site. As a passionate cosplayer, translating my interpretation of her atmosphere into images brings immense fulfillment. The fabric had generous stretch, allowing broader movements without pinching so I could pose naturally to flatter leg lines. Overall, I am very pleased with the styling and camera framing, with deep gratitude to the iJoy photographer for on-site direction that sharpened my convention photo presence. I look forward to exploring more roles with this aesthetic in the future.
