[Eyjafjalla Cosplay] Heading to the comic con in a Summer swimsuit: Arknights Eyja cosplay has arrived!

For this second set of Eyja cosplay convention photos, many adjustments were made to the setting to truly bring out the refreshing summer vibe. I chose a pink-and-white plaid crop-top swimsuit with a short skirt, complemented by a translucent pink-and-white swim ring as the main prop, with floral accents on both the chest and skirt hem. The venue floor was very hard on the day of the shoot, and standing barefoot for an extended time was tough. The blue-black ankle wraps and leg ring were key highlights of this styling; although my feet were freezing, I powered through to recreate those waterside elements.

My hair was styled into fluffy pink buns and double topknots paired with sheep horns and dotted with small pink flowers to echo the overall color palette. Facing the light source directly during the shoot required careful attention to avoid overexposure, and post-processing compensated for shadows in the background to make the character pop with depth. Since comic convention backgrounds tend to be cluttered, a wide aperture blurred out background attendees and booths, keeping the focus squarely on the character.

Handling the props was actually quite challenging—the swim ring was very slippery, and tucking it under one arm while maintaining a proud, turned-profile pose demanded solid control over my balance. While the first set focused on static standing poses, this time I went for more dynamic poses like hands on hips and side angles to accentuate the waistline and leg proportions, enhancing the layered look of the costume. Because these were convention photos captured on the fly, keeping up with facial expressions required rapid adjustments.

A heartfelt thanks to my partner on site; running around adjusting lights was no small feat. Despite the chilly feeling of barefooting on the hard floor, seeing the results achieved through natural lighting and reflectors made me feel that this barefoot look with ankle wraps fits Eyja's lively personality wonderfully. As my second time shooting this theme, post-production focused on refining skin tones and the pink hues of the swimsuit to achieve a cleaner, more transparent look, preserving the texture of the raw photos without relying on over-the-top filters.
