[Pozëmka cosplay] Arknights 'Beside the passing dream' Outfit: Cool-Toned Elegance of a Pink-Haired Kemonomimi Girl

Bringing Pozëmka's 'Beside the passing dream' skin from Arknights to life required immense care regarding costume and prop craftsmanship. This outfit leans into an aloof, ornate Traditional style cosplay aesthetic, where the white-and-blue silk textiles emanate a translucent sheen under cool illumination. The chest and waist are heavily adorned with gilded metal leaves, azure gemstones, and draped pearl chains. For the lower skirt, underneath a foundation fabric bearing subtle jacquard lotus motifs lies an outer overlay woven from silver beaded mesh, generating rich textural movement with every step.

Regarding props, the silver metallic filigree round fan serves as a major focal point, featuring ornate openwork patterns and long, cascading tassels. To capture the scholarly, literary aura of the original splash art, I also prepared a calligraphy brush and a navy scroll bound with gilded edging, instantly conveying the sensation of perusing ancient texts when held.

For hair and makeup, the long, pink wavy hair had to maintain voluminous body while securely anchoring the oversized pink animal ears atop the head. The gilded tassel headpieces tended to tangle with the hair whenever I turned, requiring frequent repositioning between takes. For the eye makeup, I selected pink-purple contact lenses alongside deepened eyeshadow and sharp eyeliner to sculpt an aloof, subtly enigmatic gaze.

The set was styled with wooden lattice screen partitions and white floral branches, illuminated by cool cyan-blue lighting that resonated naturally with the character's temperament. Given the wide, billowing sleeves and the openwork mesh cutout at the waist, body positioning demanded strict control. Seated poses with the fan or reading the scroll readily channeled poised dignity, but capturing kinetic shots with swirling hemlines and sleeves proved physically taxing. It required engaging core strength to loft the heavy textiles while maintaining relaxed facial expressions and ensuring hair ornaments stayed intact.

To showcase every nuance, I explored varied focal lengths—from intimate close-ups highlighting facial makeup and fan filigree to wide full-body compositions revealing the garment's overall silhouette. Silk is exceptionally light-sensitive, reflecting differing lustres at the slightest shift in perspective; thus, I continually synced with the photographer regarding light placements and reflector angles to maximize the fabric's tactile quality and embroidered precision.

The design of 'Beside the passing dream' carries formidable visual weight, performing gorgeously on camera from textile shimmer to accessory accents. This set documents my personal interpretation of Pozëmka, and now it's time to work through the remaining edits.
