[Ryougi Shiki Cosplay] The Garden of Sinners: Casual Moments in Convenience Store with Strawberry Ice Cream

Today's set of The Garden of Sinners Ryougi Shiki cosplay photos is set across two life-like locations: a 24-hour convenience store and a car interior at night. Compared to grand and ornate studio shoots, this ambient environment filled with everyday life vibes actually makes it easier for the person and character personality to resonate.

For clothing, I chose a reddish-brown cropped leather jacket with a wide white faux rabbit fur collar, which not only added visual thickness around the shoulders and neck, but also served as a visual focal point in the cool-toned convenience store environment. The jacket inner wear is a deep blue ankle-length dress—red and blue color contrast is a very classic color combination for the character. Short black hair with straight bangs was the focus of this look; to recreate that crisp and neat feel, the wig's sideburns and bangs underwent multiple trims before shooting, sprayed with sheen spray to boost gloss.

The photographer employed a brilliant lighting style. Inside the convenience store, ambient cool fluorescent lights were mainly utilized, giving the overall frame a cyan-blue cool texture that fit the character's unique urban detachment. In the car at night, we decisively switched to direct Flash photography. This harsh, direct light casts crisp highlights and shadows on facial features; especially in the dim car cabin, a sudden burst of strong light not only made facial contours look three-dimensional, but also captured a deeply contemplative gaze.

The primary prop for this shoot was a tub of strawberry Haagen-Dazs, which I carefully picked in front of the freezer display to ensure the plastic packaging wasn't squeezed or deformed. Digging down with the small plastic spoon, you could feel the solid frozen texture of the ice cream, tasting the sweet blend of strawberry jam and cream upon entry. To cooperate with the camera, I deliberately slowed down my tasting movements in the compact car space, displaying a relaxed, slightly zoned-out posture.

I believe the significance of TYPE-MOON cosplay lies not just in replicating cool character action poses, but in capturing those tiny moments of reality when she blends into everyday life in Casual cosplay. She also wanders through convenience stores late at night, and sits alone in a car eating a sweet treat when bored. In this work, cool lighting amplified these casual moments. Although lacking grand battle scenes, that calm composure belonging exclusively to the character was instead presented wonderfully through this daily fragment. The shooting process was smooth, with every flash burst recording a quiet, authentic moment on a late winter night.
