Choosing to attend the Fate/Grand Order offline convention in the form of Tamamo no Mae cosplay turned out to be an experience that far exceeded expectations. The phrase "TYPE-MOON beauties" often thrown around in our community felt tangibly real today amid the vibrant atmosphere of taking photos with cosplayers at conventions everywhere.

Regarding the details of this outfit, I did a lot of preparation before heading out. The long pink hair and that pair of huge fluffy animal ears are the soul of this outfit. The fluffiness of the ears and the layering at the tips were combed repeatedly, showing high color accuracy when catching reflections in front of the venue shopping mall's glass curtain wall. For contact lenses, I chose an amber-yellow to light-red gradient style paired with matching eyeshadow blending; to fit Tamamo no Mae's fox-like character trait, I flicked the eyeliner upward quite a bit. The black choker on the neck is a major highlight of this Anime-style fashion look, forming a great visual contrast with the off-the-shoulder design. The blue-and-white color-blocked fabric at the bottom beautifully highlighted collarbone and shoulder lines during wide-angle selfies, which was one of the aspects I was most satisfied with in this styling.

The most memorable part of doing this cosplay was definitely walking through the venue floor. Because the animal ears props were quite large, they slightly blocked my vision, but that also led to capturing many fun moments. While roaming the venue, I bumped into several friends with distinct styling styles. While taking photos with cosplayers at conventions, I met a white-haired character wearing a loose white top, a silver-haired character wearing black triangular hair ornaments with golden embroidery on her costume, and another pink-haired character wearing half-rim glasses and a black leather jacket. Shooting with them inside the indoor shopping mall and outdoors at night went smoothly; all four of us carried our own unique aura from different visual angles, which is truly the raw charm of offline fan events.

Regarding the garment tailoring, this outfit features very wide blue sleeves trimmed with gold threading along the cuffs. Although this design is visually magnificent, it caused some minor inconvenience when eating, drinking, or organizing props. However, gently swaying the sleeves while moving created a wonderful flowing elegance. The indoor lighting at the convention was quite complex, so using a wide-angle lens for selfies captured storefront greenery, glass railings, and passing attendees in the background; this background infused with real-life traces actually made a 2D anime character stepping into reality feel much more genuine. Under warm indoor convention lights, the wig's sheen and contact lens reflections were captured just right without overexposure, setting a great tone for group photos shared across social circles.

I've attended offline events quite frequently in recent years, but choosing TYPE-MOON cosplay within the Fate/Grand Order universe always brings a uniquely fresh experience. As a cosplayer who regularly navigates various conventions, I believe the greatest joy of cosplay isn't just taking stunning photos, but mutually understanding and appreciating fellow fans in a physical offline space. Today, shooting continuously from the indoor mall in daytime to the roadside at night, collaborating with several TYPE-MOON fans to find angles for group shots, everyone was deeply immersed throughout the process. Whether it was the precision of costume stitching or the thickness of wig trimming, everything held up remarkably well on camera. Although exhausting after a full day, this brief companionship built on shared passion truly leaves lasting memories long after the convention ends.
