Shot in the studio today, this set of Lynae from Wuthering Waves had an incredible amount of thought poured into everything from hair and makeup to set dressing. To align with the character's Summer beach theme, the wig was specifically chosen in a blonde-to-cyan gradient, styled with side braids and adorned on top with white and yellow blossoms alongside blue butterfly hair clips. Makeup focused heavily on the eyes, featuring purple contact lenses paired with an overall sheer, radiant base so the skin preserved flawless texture even beneath harsh studio strobes.

For the wardrobe, the base is a light blue bikini beneath a white short-sleeved semi-sheer mesh cover-up, accented on the chest with a striking golden starfish emblem and tassels, complemented by shell pendants and beaded necklaces around the neck. On the bottom, light blue raw-hem denim shorts are paired with pink ruffled wristbands and blue silicone bracelets on the arms—nuances that bring the character's persona to full bloom. The studio staging was remarkably elaborate, laid with genuine sand against a lush greenery wall, furnished with white deck chairs, surfboards, parasols, and an oversized transparent blue swim ring, cultivating a rich summer holiday ambiance.

During shooting, I experimented with diverse poses to capture the most relaxed energy. The first series involved sitting on the white beach chair, holding a clear glass prop in one hand with the other resting naturally downward—an angle that truly tests bodily posture, requiring a constantly straight spine. To inject playful charm into the scene, a rubber duck and a toy water gun were set beside the chair. The second series had me standing while holding the swim ring, visually elongating leg lines, though balancing on loose sand demanded strict center-of-gravity control to prevent wobbling. The third pose featured resting prone on the lounger with chin in hand while meeting the lens—a close-up demanding a sharper, more expressive gaze. The fourth setup was sitting directly on the sand, leaning diagonally against the swim ring to raise a green soda can, or reclining back on the lounger aiming the toy water gun.

Shooting inside this set, the biggest realization was just how challenging it is to convey effortless vacation relaxation. Bright strobes hitting the face make eyes squint instinctively, and whether reclining on the floor or chairs, the core must stay engaged rather than slumping completely, or the posture will look sluggish and drained on camera. Props provided immense relief: holding a water gun, soda can, swim ring, or rubber duck prevented hand poses from freezing up while offering natural focal points for my gaze. The session was thoroughly delightful, wrapping in high spirits with a wonderfully easygoing vibe.
