I've finally sorted out all the selected final photos for this [Lynette] Lily of the Valley Waltz set. Many people say Lynette's popularity is on the lower side, but since I chose this character, I wanted to fully showcase that elegant yet slightly mysterious cat charm of hers, which is why I specifically chose a Ballet cat theme for this shoot.

The Lily of the Valley Waltz outfit design itself perfectly aligns with theatrical aesthetics. The large area of white base paired with low-saturation mint green creates a very refreshing visual look. The off-the-shoulder puff sleeves on the upper top not only highlight a graceful shoulder and neck line, but together with the structured green bow tie at the neck, also provide a fantastic visual anchor for the upper body. The short fluffy tutu skirt below, combined with white ballet lace-up shoes, is a pairing I personally feel elongates leg proportions significantly, with the ribbon straps wrapping around the calves ring by ring to create a delightfully delicate rhythm.

The highlight of this shoot was actually pairing light and shadow to accomplish long-exposure Light painting photography effects. To form that complete, bright light trail encircling the body as seen in the photos, we had to ensure every wave of the light stick was sufficiently fluid and smooth. Especially for airborne jumping movements like in Photo 4, not only did I have to overcome the instability of being suspended in mid-air, but I also had to trace a precise trajectory in the sky so the light trail framed my body seamlessly right in the center. We repeatedly adjusted this movement nearly ten times before capturing a continuous circular light trail; at the exact same moment, warm golden sunlight from the ground bathed my body, creating a frozen moment that truly tested the tacit synergy between the photographer and me.

The background was chosen in a European-style hall with arched stained-glass windows and vintage stone pillars. The warm yellowish color palette combined with strong backlighting illuminated the edges of my hair and the pleats of my skirt, creating a holy, sacred atmosphere in person. On the day of the shoot, I was completely immersed in the character's rhythm. In the photos, whether standing still with poise or leaping nimbly on one leg, I tried my best to channel the professionalism of a ballet dancer. Meanwhile, when posing, I also had to account for the visual effect of the light trails to ensure the overall composition wrapped around the character without feeling empty.

Perhaps many viewers don't pay much attention to this kitty normally, but I personally adore this setting. Her rational personality, along with her occasional laziness and subtle playfulness, are major charm points of this character. Blending the softness of cat ears, the stiffness of ballet shoes, and the tech-feel of light painting together became the core tone of this Cosplay photoshoot. Only after the shoot ended did I realize the skirt hem was covered in wood dust from the floor, but it is precisely these authentic marks, paired with warm light, that brought us closer to that storybook feel of stepping off the stage after a curtain call.

The overall makeup and hairstyle deliberately leaned toward a cool, aloof feel without using overly heavy colors, focusing instead on delicate blush and eyeshadow details as well as securing the cat ears firmly. After all, keeping cat ears from falling off during frequent big movements is part of a successful performance. Through this heart-filled interpretation of Lynette, I hope people can feel that even if a character doesn't have sky-high popularity or traffic, treating them with dedication can still convey the unique vitality belonging exclusively to them.
