This shoot was chosen in an industrial-style staircase space deep in the city, intended to capture a sense of tranquility beyond the bustling city. To better restore Ryuge Kisaki's steady yet slightly distant personality, I chose a deeper, more immersive blue tone in the overall color processing. When creating this type of Night portrait, the delicate transition of light and shadow is a crucial link. Through the clever use of side light sources, I was able to outline the texture of the costume's folds and the three-dimensional contours of the face, giving the whole set of photos a cinematic narrative feel amidst the interweaving of light and shadow, as if telling some unfinished stories in the quiet night.
Combined with the focal length advantage of the Viltrox 50mm f/1.4, the background blur effect is very silky, precisely focusing the visual center on the character herself while maintaining the atmospheric feeling of the surrounding environment. As a coser continuously exploring in front of the lens, my most enjoyable moments are often when I repeatedly communicate details with the photographer, seeking the collision of the character's soul in every slight movement of the eyes. This work is not only a visual restoration of the Blue Archive character but also a deep attempt at light and shadow aesthetics. I hope that through this set of works, everyone can feel a little bit of tranquility and gentleness belonging to Blue Archive during a busy day. This is also a perfect example of high-quality Anime cosplay.
