Rushing to a venue can definitely lead to hiccups! Today, due to delays on the road, by the time I arrived at the anime convention, all the spots for lantern setups were completely taken, leaving not even a single dimly lit corner. Watching everyone else's vibrant, colorful big lantern arrays, I could only sigh silently in my heart. In the end, I simply found a particularly bright window spot, thinking since I couldn't set up a lantern array, I might as well embrace the natural light directly. To be honest, right after shooting when looking at the raw photos, I felt a bit anxious because an intense backlit photography environment easily causes overexposure or a dark face. Unexpectedly, after slightly raising the shadows in post-processing, it actually created an effect almost like a built-in soft-focus filter! The white dress shimmered with a glistening texture under the sunlight, and those pale blue diamond patterns on the skirt hem paired with the pink jacket felt super refreshing. I personally love this fresh and healing vibe. This costume actually has plenty of details, such as the pearl necklace at the neckline and the little white shell decorations on the sleeves. Even though the venue was crowded, the photos captured that atmosphere. Holding the little handbag with a pearl chain made me feel light on my feet. Running around that day was indeed exhausting, and my feet ached terribly after walking in high heels for so long, but the moment I saw the fluttering dress hem in the final pictures, all the hustle felt completely worth it. Every time I cosplay a character, I spend a lot of time refining makeup and wig styling. This time I'm very satisfied with the combination of eye makeup and contact lens color—the eyes look quite soft. Since the lantern array couldn't be set up, let's use this set of sunlit Cosplay convention photos to record this happy experience as a Comic convention record! In fact, for a cosplayer, regardless of the environment, as long as you dedicatedly restore that unique temperament of the character, you can capture touching images even in a busy corner with people coming and going. This shoot didn't deliberately hunt for polished perfection angles; it simply recorded that relaxed state after stepping off the show floor. I hope this warm light-and-shadow feeling reaches everyone. My favorite ones from this set are those spinning dress shots; although I was a bit nervous during the snapshot, the dynamic motion and natural folds of the skirt hem came out so naturally. Plus, the little bow embellishment on the white high heels really made the overall look pop. Meeting so many fellow fans on site, with everyone working hard to present the character image in their hearts—this kind of atmosphere is truly wonderful. Even with tight time, being able to immerse oneself in what one loves is the greatest joy of playing cosplay for me.
