[Milk cosplay] The Bunny Girl from Goddess of Victory: Nikke, Light and Shadow Highlighting Her Playfulness - Image 1

Standing in front of the bar counter with my makeup all set, the photographer pressed the shutter the moment I held the goblet steady. For this Milk cosplay in her bunny girl outfit shot at Nanchang Hualiuliu Studio, the overall idea was to recreate the character's setting in the game—one that carries both a little devilish charm and a playful atmosphere. The wooden wine rack and the warm, low-light environment fit the character design perfectly, and when paired with my pink-and-white bunny girl outfit, it created just the right amount of contrast in the frame. However, the on-site lighting setup actually took some effort. An amaran softbox was placed on the right side, using side light to outline the contours of the skirt hem and stockings, ensuring the material details could really stand out.

To make this look appear more spirited, we spent quite a long time adjusting the position of the wig and bunny ears. Plus, standing in these high heels for a long time really tested my ankle support, but for the sake of extending the body lines in the final frame, I gritted my teeth and held through. In fact, the most interesting part of a studio shooting experience is often repeatedly adjusting the pinpoint of that beam of light with the photographer; the texture presented in the end makes all the preparation completely worthwhile. Taking a glance back at the on-site photos during a break, the warm yellow light clearly distinguished between the velvet and glossy materials, and the material contrast between the plush arm sleeves worn on the arms and the bodysuit was also very interesting.

Every time I do an Anime cosplay with such a specific theme, I need to pay special attention to the unity of colors in my makeup. I chose pink tones close to the costume for both my eyeshadow and lip color, which makes the overall visual perception much more coordinated. From the final makeup look to lighting setup and the final blocking, every step felt like completing a puzzle piece to recreate the character's soul. Being immersed in this state truly allowed me to experience the inherent charm of the character. I am very happy that I could bring this look to life in this studio, and I hope this single shot allows everyone to feel my understanding of and dedication to this character.
