Shot a set of Touhou Project Reisen Convention photos with a wild, crazy atmosphere; once the overall look was completed, the result aligned closely with my understanding of this character.

The layering of the outfit is very strong. The upper body features a black military jacket with heavy golden fringed epaulets on the shoulders, paired with gold buttons and white ruffles at the cuffs. The inner top is a crisp white shirt with a bright red tie; this color contrast makes the upper body look sharp and solemn. The lower body is paired with a multi-layered pink and white ruffled skirt; this combination of tough military styling and sweet girlish aesthetic perfectly fits the sweet-and-cool contrast I wanted to present.

For facial makeup, cool-toned purple hair and red-pink eye shadow were chosen, creating a striking look for Purple hair and red eyes that makes the gaze feel more piercing. The pair of white plush bunny ears on top is the finishing touch; paired with long, straight purple hair, it's highly recognizable under convention lights. Holding a black toy prop gun in hand dials cold indifference and combat readiness straight to maximum.

Regarding angles and pose selection, my personal favorite is the full-body shot sitting on the floor. To complement the white plush rabbit prop in the frame, the photographer and I spread a white plush blanket in a relatively open area at the convention. The seated pose visually extended leg length; thick-soled black leather shoes paired with white slouch socks and a soft pink skirt gave the composition both combat intensity and a touch of lazy girlish atmosphere. Raising the gun posed high physical demands on thumb web and arm support, but to achieve a cooler, sharper effect, I readjusted my grip angle repeatedly.

This shoot mainly utilized direct flash to faithfully reproduce the colors of the outfit and subject in Cosplay photography. The complex lights of the convention floor contrasted remarkably with direct flash, reducing background crowds and booths into dim, blurred silhouettes and emphasizing the subject's outline and texture. I didn't add overly complex post-processing filters, relying mostly on raw color tones while slightly tuning 3D light-and-shadow dynamics, allowing long purple hair to radiate a clearer, cooler luster under flash illumination.

Expression in the eyes was what I valued most across this set—whether a cold stare while turning back standing up, or calm focus while aiming the gun, I strove to create a crazy feeling touched with disdain and tension. The ruggedness of the prop gun, softness of the pink skirt, and mystery of purple hair were captured completely in these frozen moments. Although lighting and crowds at the venue were noisy, this served to accentuate the character's unyielding nature. I really love this synergy of presence and immersion in Convention photos.
