This shoot features Nami's classic Wano Country outfit from One Piece. The visual color contrast between the light blue kimono-style top and the orange sash is inherently lively. Regarding costume details, the light blue cross-collar cropped top fabric is dotted with slightly western-style pink and white floral patterns, maintaining moderate color saturation. The obi waist sash isn't monochrome; it incorporates alternating yellow, white, and blue zig-zag wave patterns, cinched with a dark blue slender cord to define the waistline, complemented by a bright orange trailing cloth underneath that enriches the waist's layered texture.

The high slit design on both sides of the skirt hem is the highlight of this ensemble. Whether walking around the convention floor or posing for photos, it visibly elongates leg lines, which, combined with blue flat geta clogs, fully showcases Nami's Casual cosplay style in Wano Country. I deliberately selected matching light turquoise slender bangles as accents to enhance overall completeness. The orange-yellow striped long staff prop is probably the character's most recognizable piece; whether standing vertically or tilted in photos, it assists framing and creates visual interaction with the character.

For wig trimming, I intentionally thinned out the bangs to fit naturally against the forehead, preventing heavy bangs from obscuring the bright sparkle in her eyes. Side locks were styled with subtle outer curls to capture her crisp character design. As for the dark blue bow hair accessory, I chose a thick satin material that reflects delicate luster under natural convention light, adding vibrant color contrast against bright orange hair.

Regarding makeup, I focused heavily on eyeliner definition, using reddish-brown eyeshadow as an upper eyelid base to deepen eye contours, paired with warm orange blush to give a healthy, vibrant glow. A subtle upturn at the outer corners of the eyes imbued the character with her signature sly and lively charm. For character details, the purple totem mark on the outer right arm was crucial; I used a rich tattoo sticker, which stood out strikingly against the light blue attire, adding mystery and high recognition.

Since this was shot live at an offline convention, the synthetic green lawn provided a grounded backdrop that suited her character well. Guided by photographer Xiao Zhe, I experimented with various stances and prop placements, such as standing while holding the staff and kneeling on one knee. On-site fill light and speedlights were utilized to overpower distracting background illumination, highlighting key contours and highlights on the subject. The outfit fabric was chiffon with a subtle pearlescent shimmer, allowing subtle surface reflections even in complex ambient light, perfectly accentuating body shape under flash.

Although the orange-yellow staff prop looked light, I added a weighted base to ensure it stood upright on the ground without tipping over. This meant holding it one-handed or leaning on it while kneeling required extra physical effort to maintain stability. However, these physical burdens vanished the instant final photos came out, as the visual effects were highly satisfying. The green lawn tested ground evenness; standing on geta clogs shifted foot pressure points, forcing continuous balance adjustments—a tiring process, yet one that elicited my most natural poses.

Among the four photos from this shoot, I personally recommend the kneeling pose with the staff. That composition not only showcases the costume's high-slit cut effectively but also forms a seamless visual leading line between the prop, arm tattoo, and facial expressions. Every character's soul lies within the details; Nami cosplay in her Wano Country outfit granted me fresh appreciation for combining lines and colors, and I hope these photos convey her inherent confidence and energetic spirit.
