This set of Patchouli cosplay has actually been in preparation for a long time. From the purple gradient of this purple-haired character's wig to the butterfly prints on the skirt hem, every detail is meant to recreate 'Mukyu's' lazy yet erudite temperament. I woke up very early on the day of the shoot, but in my daze, I forgot the slippers I had prepared at home, so I ended up having to go barefoot. Luckily, it doesn't show in the photos. Also, I wore safety shorts underneath; although the skirt is short, there is absolutely no accidental exposure, so everyone can rest assured. The scene was chosen in a very vintage library, which was perfect for library photography. The walls full of books and the book installations hanging overhead felt exceptionally magical. The photographer @吃饭先生📷 is great at catching light and shadow, letting the tulle skirt hem show a sense of layering. Actually, the shooting process was quite hard work, as I had to balance poses and expressions while being careful not to step on the skirt hem, but seeing the final photos makes it all feel worth it. Patchouli usually stays cooped up in the library reading books. This time, I also experienced the feeling of being surrounded by a sea of books. Although it's just a cosplay, I'm really happy to briefly immerse myself in this character. As for the details, I specially chose a purple-toned makeup to match the hair, and the prop books were also meticulously selected, hoping to stay as close to the character's original setting as possible.
