Slipping into this Angels of Delusion look for my Sunna cosplay, my very first thought was, "How annoying! How annoying!" mostly because there are just way too many tiny accessories. Just sorting out that mint green wavy wig and the sharp horn hairpiece on top took quite a while. But once I put on that white puff-sleeve top and slipped on the pink-and-white striped loose oversleeves, I instantly got that little idol on-stage vibe. To stay true to the character's unique demeanor, I specifically chose amber colored contacts, paired with a slightly redder blush and lip color to make the whole makeup look energetic yet a bit rebellious. For the bottom, I went with a black puffy miniskirt, combined with leather leg straps and white thigh-high socks, which instantly added tons of layers.
For this session, I specifically looked for clean white cabinet doors as the background to max out the contrast between the costume and hair color. During the shoot, I kept adjusting my hand gesturesālike resting my face in my hands, flashing a peace sign, or pinching my chinātrying to capture Sunna's cocky yet adorable expressions. When editing the photos, I didn't use overly exaggerated filters; I only balanced the skin tone and the light and shadow slightly. The color saturation of this idol outfit is already super high, making the combination of mint green, pink, white, and black incredibly eye-catching.
If you also like this sweet idol style with a punk edge, you can totally try out asymmetrical accessory combinationsālike wearing a black hairpin only on one side or casually adding a choker, which makes the whole look feel much more narrative-driven. The best part of finishing a Casual cosplay photoshoot is finding those hidden designs tucked away in the clothing folds, like the lace on the cuffs or the small embellishments at the neckline. Though managing the wig and securing the hairpieces can be tedious, seeing that "I am the center of the stage" energy in the final prints makes it all completely worth it.
