[Chihaya Anon Cosplay] Skipping Class with MyGO in the Sunshine of Long Beach Marina

The sunshine today was absolutely wonderful, so I grabbed my photographer and rushed straight to the Long Beach marina. I've been wanting to shoot a casual school uniform outdoor set for Anon, and this time I finally wore this grey blazer with white trim and the green plaid skirt out the door. It was originally planned for the weekend, but looking at this weather, I simply couldn't wait, so I straight-up skipped the afternoon class (shh, don't follow my example, guys).

We found a few spots in the yacht area; the wooden boardwalk, concrete benches, and shoreline rocks were all excellent backdrops for this yacht marina photo shoot. The wind was a bit strong while shooting, blowing the wig up, which actually gave it a highly natural feeling. In the first shot, sitting on the bench with my legs crossed, I personally love the pairing of the over-the-knee socks and loafers, making my proportions look exceptionally slender. Later, standing by the railings or sitting on a stone stool messing with my hair, the photographer said my smile was very relaxed—it was honestly because this environment was too comfortable. The sea breeze blowing over, with white sailboats and blue water filling my vision, genuinely makes one happy unconsciously.

I deliberately paired this school uniform with black over-the-knee socks. Because the skirt is on the shorter side, this visually elongates the leg lines and adds more layers when taking photos, perfectly executing this Japanese school uniform outfit. The pink wig uses gradient tips, which show a faint bright color under the sunlight, forming a soft contrast with the grey blazer. The tie is dark green, echoing the plaid pattern of the skirt, so the overall color scheme isn't too jarring while preserving the character's native color features.

In fact, for me, the most interesting part of cosplay is not entirely replicating a certain moment, but putting the character into a real environment and letting her personality come alive through my own performance during this Outdoor cosplay session. I tried to capture Anon's slightly proud yet highly energetic state in front of the lens, like raising a hand to fix my hair, turning slightly to glance back, or simply sitting on the chair smiling at the camera, hoping those viewing the photos can also feel that relaxed atmosphere.

After finishing the shoot today, we conveniently ate ice cream at the marina and chatted for a long time while enjoying the sea breeze. I truly hope every day can be as happy as today, not having to worry about exams or assignments, just purely enjoying the current sunshine and scenery. This set of images didn't undergo too complex post-production processing, preserving the natural colors, light, and shadow as much as possible, because I feel this kind of outdoor portrait needs to have an authentic, translucent clarity; a heavy filter would instead ruin that unique laziness of a weekend afternoon.

If the weather is good next time, I also want to try shooting counter-light at dusk, or going to a place with green lawns, which should also be very photogenic. I'll share these few frames for now.
