The final photos for this Blue Reimu set are fully completed. Looking through the images, the ethereal mist from the day of the shoot still drifts vividly through my mind. Designing this blue-and-white centered outfit was primarily to create a crisp color contrast against the Outdoor forest setting. The costume has numerous layers; the white lace trimming and lantern sleeves made physical movements look richer on camera, though because the fabric carried notable weight, spinning and leaping were physically demanding. The exaggerated blue ribbon bow on my head was surprisingly heavy, requiring dozens of bobby pins to secure firmly. The gohei prop in my hand often fluttered erratically in the outdoor breeze, so I had to constantly monitor the direction of its trailing streamers while posing.

On the day of the shoot, the photographer utilized a dual-lighting setup paired with a fog machine; the mist formed distinct, visible rays of volumetric light filtering through the trees. I mostly posed along the wooden steps. The fourth shot was a candid capture during a turn—this angle perfectly highlighted the elongated visual lines from the White stockings along my legs, which, paired with the flaring dynamic motion of the skirt hem, created far greater visual tension than a static standing pose. To execute this pose well, I repeatedly adjusted my toe positioning to ensure natural leg lines. Between takes, I also paid close attention to lighting angles, striving to let the light filter past the headpiece onto my face.

Because the location was an Outdoor forest with fallen leaves and mud, the edges of the White stockings were prone to getting soiled, requiring checks every few poses. Although the shoot was lengthy, the finished textures look remarkably authentic, preserving wood grain and lush foliage textures for seamless integration between character and environment. For me, cosplay is never just wearing a costume, but embodying the character's nuanced mannerisms; harmonizing these props and styling elements brings the portrayal to life in this Aesthetic cosplay.
