[Liliweiss cosplay] Convention Photos: Heavy Damage with the Left, High Damage with the Right

Debuting Liliweiss from Nikke at the anime expo today, I went all-out on this black leather military uniform dress. The hefty leather, high-collar cut, and long sleeves were sweltering despite the convention center's AC, but seeing the shots in the monitor made it completely worth it—the metallic gold trim gleaming against the vivid purple cape lining looked incredible against moody backgrounds.

I layered the wig with bangs just covering my eyebrows and pink-highlighted ends that stood out crisply under cool lighting. Sharp eye contours and colored contacts delivered a piercing gaze, while short white gloves and sheer black Stockings completed the iconic silhouette. Posing with one hand on my hip and the other cocked in a half-guard let the cape drape naturally. It turned hilarious when a photographer started shouting fighting mantras about heavy-damage punches; I broke character laughing and rolled with the meme into dynamic punching stances.

Convention photos are notoriously tricky for lighting, but our photographer used off-camera flashes to suppress background clutter into creamy bokeh circles. Chatting with fellow fans and joking about game mechanics was so much fun. Nikke designs always possess striking presence, and in the future, exploring fighting game characters like those from The King of Fighters sounds just as exciting!
