Slipping into this Wuthering Waves Suisui cosplay costume—a white base patterned with gold and blue flying bird motifs—my first impression was how much more tailored and flattering it felt than expected, sculpting the body silhouette beautifully. The costume's design is rich with deliberate details: black gradient printing stretches from the neckline down to the chest, complemented by red cord accents that ground the visual center. High slits on both sides drape elegantly with movement, and the fabric carries a subtle, soft sheen that pairs with cascading gradient ribbons, feeling substantial in hand and visually layered.

During the fitting, I focused on styling the headpiece first. The blonde wig was gathered into a neat bun on one side; the red tassel hairpin carried some weight and needed precise placement so it wouldn't whip across my face when turning. On my right hand, I wore a dark glove and tightened the pearl bracelet around the wrist to mirror the hair accessory. To make posing feel more organic during the shoot, I paired the outfit with a translucent blue folding fan. The open fan ribs caught the studio light with lovely translucency, serving as a natural extension of my arm movements.

The lower section demanded the most meticulous adjustments. I first secured the black decorative accents on both hips, then draped the pearl chains along the tailored contours, ensuring they wouldn't swing wildly while walking. The golden thigh ring needed to sit just right—neither pinching the skin nor slipping down, which proved to be a delicate balancing act. For footwear, I paired it with black pointed-toe low-heeled leather shoes; the blue-and-gold color-blocking and pearl studs on the toes anchored the visual weight of the lower body, while the low heels offered solid footing to adjust stances smoothly before the camera.

Finding my bearings in front of the mirror, I realized the biggest visual highlight was the subtle reveal of the high slits. Standing front-facing with the fan lifted halfway across my face, shifting weight to one leg while lightly extending the other let the slit lines elongate visual proportions. Sitting down with legs crossed, the skirt draped naturally on both sides, letting the golden thigh ring resonate harmoniously with the gold and blue feather prints on the hem.

Throughout the fitting, I also realized that while the fabric looks structured, it doesn't feel stiff at all—instead, it wears remarkably supple and close to the body.
